The V6 kit looks kinda cool if a bit cheap, but I wonder if anyone does / will make one that's just an opening? Holding out for that Cervini's splitter since it doesn't work with existing foglights, maybe they have a solution.
My plan is to install the Shelby foglight turn signal combos along...
Anyone tried the 2018 turn signals on the 15-17 MY cars? I'm thinking about possibly getting the ones with the fog lamps, though I'm expecting some modding would need to be done to make them work with the bumper since they're longer than the previous model.
Would be a great mod to pair with...
After doing some more searching, this might be a CNET error, Waze has this on their website:
https://blog.waze.com/2018/01/more-waze-on-your-cars-big-screen-with.html
According to CNET it's limited to 2018 vehicles only:

Wtf :frusty:
Hey all, has anyone fixed or replaced the GPS connector on a SYNC 3 APIM before? The connectors seem pretty easy to source, but I'm wondering how hard it would be to solder to the board. Here's a picture of the connector with the outside part missing, not sure how much work it would be to fix...
I know in older clusters - ie the Fusion with the two displays - nav is restricted to embedded nav, not CarPlay. Would love if this wasn't the case for the new Mustang cluster
I wonder if the 2018s with regular cluster have those three extra lines, and which module has it? Might be a 2018 module you'd have to swap in / program to make it work?
Considering the 2018s have a regular cluster option, they probably make it pretty easy to put in since having different code...
Just tested this yesterday and got it to enable the GT Bootup and SYNC 3 Theme. I got it from the F-150 spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uDSQ1Z5a2Wt8-kjrSiVSlDFGFHnfeuhb3RTMVz95730/edit#gid=815852466):

Just finished mine yesterday, I think they turned out pretty great. I don't think this stuff will come off easily, it's pretty thick and took 3 coats to cover the pads without leaving holes:
I feel like with the new 18 MY turn signals and integrated foglights those might be able to get retrofitted to the old bumper since the size and shape of them look pretty close if not the same.
On another note, since this replaces the grill does it mean it does not work with the Adaptive...
Update went smoothly! Honestly the hardest part was stripping the tape off the wire to expose them for the WPT1239 part (2015 model here). Just spliced the wires in using splice clips and put the hub in place, no problem. Runs really smoothly, definitely enjoy having maps in the center stack...
My guess is if people can swap an MKZ cluster into a Fusion you'll be able to swap a 2018 cluster into a 2017 or older:
http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=5855
Though it's possible that programming will be required, as was needed for the MKZ to Fusion swap.
I'm hoping this will actually be possible. Does anyone know whether this would affect odometer? I don't want to ruin the title of my car with a new gauge cluster...
Just heard back from my dealer, 19A387 is waiting for me and WPT1239 should be delivered over the next few days. Looking forward to getting CarPlay in the '15 (that I added SYNC 3 to)
That would really suck, especially since as a 2015 owner that upgraded to SYNC 3 I'll already have trouble getting the hub from a dealer without a part number (plus the new power cable)
Thanks guys! I'm leaning heavily towards the Cobb Accessport with Adams tune now, I'll likely get a Ford Performance CAI with K&N and probably an upgraded intercooler to add to my Performance Sport Quad Exhaust. Might wait for springtime next year though so I can get used to the car in the...
