Point of the PID was early on, they had fools asking how they would know when it was learned because they could not wait the 15 minutes or so before it was learned, like Lund told them to do.
SMH... That's the point, once it reads 1 it lets you know it has learned the fuel and it's safe to go WOT... What else is it supposed to do. Don't need every PID to have bouncing numbers, otherwise watch voltage or something.
PBK is a shop in Glendale. Owners name is Jon Rossman. Awesome guy with crazy good install prices. He has installed several parts for me. I live in Maricopa and will drive out there, knowing it will be done right.
Would have been nice to know about this from BMR or to have a mention of it in the instructions... With all of the testing to check for header clearance on different cars, I have to believe this issue reared it's head. Hopefully can get installed in a decent amount of time tomorrow.
Yeah I instant messaged them through Facebook last week and they never responded... Shitty imho not to even respond to say still working on or whatever.
But not all of us have a premium cars, and an obnoxious shift light going off is easier to detect while trying to keep your eyes on the road.
OP and myself are looking for someone with experience with installing the Raptor on a S550.
Kelly, in the instructions it states to lift and remove wheels. If I am using drive up ramps, is this okay? Was not sure if the car needs to have wheels off the ground to disconnect the LCA bolts?
Hard to tell from just looking at a picture, but are the 02 sensor bungs on the headers angled or are they straight in when the headers are installed? Several people have had issues with sensors going bad when running E85 on other brands, and had to re weld new bungs angled in. If yours are...
Are there any contact issues with the bolt that the AC lines are held to the body with, like has been found on the Stainless Works/Power headers? And do the O2 sensors bungs need to be relocated to run E85, to avoid destroying the sensors?
Does anyone have a good picture of both headers with the new relocated bungs. I'd like to have a picture, if I ordered these and had the exhaust shop modify.
To add on to what Choking Victim wrote, Lund Jr. said in my ticket,
Positive knock activity on the log means it is retarding the timing that much to PREVENT any possible detonation. It does this OEM. It's not hurting anything if it is retarding the timing.
When I asked him about our crappy gas...
Really, now you are just teasing the already impatient Internet...Poking the bear haha, but seriously. Would really like to know what the holdup is with releasing the article. You'd think Holley was in the business of selling product, and not being a cock tease.
