Your questions are valid. Some people (as above) want an OE look. Others just want the car to work. I think it's a waste of time and money, to swap the entire transmission when there much easier, less expensive solutions that work just as well. I'm still searching for the exact car/price I want...

When you guys talk about "limp mode" with the Tech Pack, is everyone getting the same issue of unable to rev past 5500 rpm? Generally speaking, isn't limp mode usually a lot more restrictive like can't rev over 1000 rpm. This just sounds like "reduced engine power."

Don't forget wheel flex. Yes, the wheels flex on track. We had an issue with certain wheels with the StopTech brakes on my SN95. No issues until we started doing hot laps then they started to clearance themselves.

You just contradicted yourself. You say FR is the same as aftermarket but wrt to the kits you mention warranty is included. Try that with an aftermarket kit. Yes, I know it is very limited.
