Ya already reset sync3. Not sure what wire you may be referring to. I would assume let ford look at it given its 3 weeks new....but what a bummer. I sort of wish others had this issue so I could be reassured it's not a major wiring problem. Lol

No, it's for both Canada and us. The issue is that 2016's are not tracking for the most part, and it's hit and miss if that. You have to go to your dealer for updates usually on Thursdays, and if not there, the ford service ca rep that is on this site.

I will, I guess I need the dealer to realize that my system doesn't recognize that I have a device plugged in first! Damn thing. I figured I'd be the first with this issue! lol. Once I get it fixed I can update this post so future folks know what it may be, and I'll update you on apps that work...

Aman, thanks for the reply....so does your usb even recognize your phone or anything else? Mine doesn't know a device is connected. How were you able to get Spotify to load to the car?

Hi Folks! Scenario: I have an iphone 6. when connecting to either USB hub (either below the sync 3, or in the armrest) it powers my phone, however, i have no option showing in sources on the sync 3 to connect to a usb device or other. As well, my sync 3 will not update the mobile apps...

No that is not normal....id take it in. Ambient high is a bit brighter, and low a bit more dim. Same color options.

Rumor in Canada is that they will be doing away with the 5.0, and going with a twin turbo v6. This may be common knowledge, or not...it's what I heard from an engineer at ford.

car got delivered today to the dealer...eta was the 7th, then someone said the 9th.....but she got there today. pick it up on thursday! sooooo excited!

Xm ready means that unless you subscribe to it, you don't have it. However, because it's a new buy, you will likely get it free for a few months, half a year or maybe a full year, but it will expire after that...becoming ready for a new subscription.

Folks, mostly all new cars theses days...at least with the big 3 are satellite radio capable....and usually always come with a few free months subscription. The last 2 cars I had...they were for 6 months. You don't have to do anything and it will expire on its own with no fees in the meantime.
