  1. 2015 Mustang Revealed (First Official Images)! Via Autoweek Magazine

I m trying....keep looking but I just don t see a clean end to pick it up by. Chaz got the general styling cues but the final product lost the ball in the execution for me. Too tall and stubby. Gun slit outward viz. Hope the pictures here are not properly proportioned.
  2. 2015 Mustang Revealed (First Official Images)! Via Autoweek Magazine

I'm kinda bummed....had hoped the '15 would pick up some class from the Aston. This thing, as depicted here, looks a little on the pudgy side (even if they did shave some weight off).
  3. Aston Martin V12 Vantage S

Sport Shift III??? Right out of my market even if I had the money.
  4. Dear Lincoln....

The quality of the interior was beautiful also.
  5. Dear Lincoln....

Also, the Bird never had the 4 cam engine.
  6. Dear Lincoln....

Pretty sure the VIII shared some of the chassis with the T-Bird at the time....that's why I said SINCE.
  7. Dear Lincoln....

Had a Mk VIII years ago....loved it. Haven't seen anything like it since from Lincoln. Just luxo-front drive midsize clones from the Ford stable and trucks.
  8. What do you guys think about the new Stingray Corvette?

I haven't thought of the Corvette as a "sports car" since about 1962. It really fits the definition of a Grand Touring car much more closely IMHO.
  9. 2015 Mustang engine lineup according to "insider"

OK how about this....4.9L inline six based on the old 300 laid over slightly on it's side, all alloy twin/cam twin plug, DI, variable valve timing, dry sump with twin eco-boost set up. Oh crap, it did specify V8. Man, you think an old Jag sounded sweet!
  10. SEMA 2013

These guys can really get the "look" with the chassis down over the wheels/tires!
  11. 2015 Mustang will have to contend with new 420hp Twin Turbo V6 by GM

I wouldn't be so quick to make generalizations about turbos... my SHO has very little (almost imperceptible) lag and it can humiliate a lot of NA high performance machines, especially when you get up above 7,000 feet. I had a Mini Cooper S with a manual for years and it provided good engine...
  12. 2015 Mustang will have to contend with new 420hp Twin Turbo V6 by GM

I've been driving a SHO for over three years now. Considering the displacement, it's a tremendous engine and has been totally trouble free for over 40,000 miles now. There are, however, several issues with the SHO driveline that I do not like and they would likely spill over to the Mustang. I...
  13. [poll] Auto or Manual next gen?

Wouldn't consider anything but a manual.
  14. Via Ford: Mustang color popularity chart. What color 6th gen are you ordering?

Dark green (highland or brg) with a saddle tan interior.
  15. First time owner or veteran?

68 Cobra Jet 69 Boss 302 84 GT 92 GT 02 GT 15 could be the best one yet.
  16. Mach 1 trademarked by Ford

I guess I have a set of trigger points to buy.....at least as much hp as the Boss (444) and a suspension/chassis upgrade similar to the 1LE that Camaro offers or the former track pack to include brakes, slightly higher numerical gears, bars/shocks, wider wheels (staggered would be nice), and...
  17. Mach 1 trademarked by Ford

I, for one, would be perfectly happy to have a performance car without paying any additional royalties to Shelby...let the money go to the goodies and not the name.
  18. Introduce yourself!!

Phil Souza in Sparks, NV. Anxiously waiting to see what performance variants are going to be offered in 2015 model year. Currently own a 2011 SHO PP and a 1964 Cobra USRRC comp roadster replica. Waiting to replace the SHO.
