I ordered mine on 6/10 retail. Dealer changed it to stock in mid-July without asking me. I didn't mind since he did it to hopefully move up the build date. Got my Vin 9/12 and my build date as of yesterday is 10/14. 4 months and counting since ordering. My dealer finally got trained on one...
Before 1pm yesterday my build week was 10/12 and current build date was 10/13. Now it says current build date 10/14. Anyone else updated from 10/13 to 10/14. I am assuming this is good news since they gave me a new date and didn't just delete the old date.
I drove a stick for 10 years and then stopped when My wife wouldn't let me have one anymore ;-). But I ordered the GT PP with manual and I can't wait to get back to driving a stick. It's way more fun and you feel like you're driving the car instead of just coasting along zoning out. I'm...
Hopefully, your build date stays the same, but regardless, if you really want magnetic it's worth changing even if you are delayed in receiving the car. You'll have the car for years and you want it to be right. I'm sticking with Silver. I love the way it looks in all the pics! but I love...
the silver looks great every time I see it in pictures. I love this car in any color!! I picked Silver for the ease of keeping clean as well. My current mustang is black and keeping it clean drives me crazy. I had a silver one years ago and it was so easy to keep clean.
Navy, I have a silver gt with PP on order as well. My build date is supposed to be 10/13 too. Leave your order alone, so that they can build ours together that day. How easy will that be for them. They'll knock ours off in a few hours first thing in the morning. :-). I like the magnetic...
interesting thread....hearing about all the different jobs and what they pay across the country. Curious how much this group thinks you need to earn a year to be considered rich. I'm sure there are many different views given we are all from different parts of the country.
I generally believe if you are buying a car for Need, financing it is ok, but if you are buying it for Want, like most of us car nuts following these forums and ordering mustangs because we love them, you should pay cash. In my case, I am buying it purely out of Want and love of Mustangs (I...
I was feeling the same way. was on the fence. My dealer actually changed it without asking me and then I left it as stock. I got one of the first 11's in 2010 and the car has been perfect, plus, I am hopeful that with all the testing and waiting and rescheduling they are actually working out...
Jimmy, did your dealer say January because he entered it as a Retail Order. I ordered on June 10th as retail and then my dealer changed it to a stock order in an attempt to get it earlier. Just curious how your dealer came up with January as opposed to Oct or Nov.
I have a black 2011 GT and I have to wash it constantly. Shows every speck of dust and every smudge. These pics are great but confirmed my promise to never buy a black car again. I love it for the 3 minutes it is clean, but then i just get frustrated. I ordered a Silver 2015 GT!! Silver...
My dealer called me yesterday and said the next time any orders will be pulled is September 11. This has been reported by others on forum as well. He said he hopes they will pull my order (mine is retail, not stock) and will do what he can to help ensure they do pull it. I placed my order on...
Sandbagger, what do you need help with? One thing I can tell you is your dealer number is not correct...they all start with an "F" and I don't understand the Vin you posted....I guess that is just part of it? and your order number is R900, based on what you wrote. What is it exactly that you...
