  1. Need Grippy Tires

I have them for my 16 GT as well just currently running NT555 G2 because my wife doesn't like the drag radials. 17 x 9 rims 275 tire and I have zero problems launching or traction on the street. Theres a reason people who street race run drag radials or slicks and plenty of them have IRS.
  2. How's the V6?

I'm a V8 guy so take it with a grain of salt but I think splurging for coyote is worth it. The coyote it one of the best motors put out in the last 10 years. The fuel economy really isn't a huge player here. You can get near 30mpg with the v8 on the highway and run 87 octane if you want. The...
  3. Need Grippy Tires

I went deep 11s on NT05Rs on my 14 GT so far from garbage and hooked plenty well on the street. You can't just hammer a drag radial without them being warm and expect it to hook up. I live in Texas so I don't have to worry about temps to often and I just restrain my foot when its wet out. The...
  4. Need Grippy Tires

NT05Rs or MT Street Rs don't drive in the rain and these will be the best street tires for traction
  5. So how many of us none seniors own S550's

Just turned 26. Bought my first 2014 5.0 at 21, got my 2016 S550 GT at 24 and got my 2014 Jeep SRT at 25. Ive been around cars my whole life because of the influence my dad has had on me. I bought a mustang because I didn't like the stigma associated with the 4 banger crowd also the coyote is...
  6. 2015 vs 2018 GT

The interiors are the same other than the Digital Dash which can but put into 15-17 except that the 15MY have sync 2 so no apple carplay/android auto. If you do a 2018 IM swap on a 15-17 it makes almost exactly the same power as an 18+. Probably more since you have a tune as well. I had a S197...
  7. 2015 vs 2018 GT

2016 Owner here while I love my car. I have the 6r80 and not the 10 speed the 2018 is worth the extra dough. The 6 speed auto is really really good but the 10 speed is insane. I have a 2018 IM so Im making similar to 2018 stock power levels and the a10 will still walk me. Also personally I would...
  8. NITTO NT 555 G2`s

A big no from me just posted in this other thread if you wanna read it. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/what-would-you-run-as-a-dd-in-the-rear.137473/#post-2825086
  9. What would you run as a DD in the rear?

I'm a big Nitto fan so naturally I decided to try the G2's on this car as it was stock and the tires were much cheaper but honestly they disappoint me quiet a bit and I won't be buying them again. I'll be switching back to NT05Rs soon and will just drive them in the rain. I live in Texas and we...
  10. What would you run as a DD in the rear?

The NT555 G2 will give you very little traction especially at that power level. Even when I was stock on my 16 GT the G2s spun really bad at anything above half throttle in 1st gear. I really like the NT05R over the 555R but personal preference and still no good in the rain. As stated about...
  11. 2007 350Z Grand Touring vs. 2015 Mustang GT PP premium

    Shadow277 is a troll don't feed him
  12. Anyone gone Roush AB with Xpipe and Headers?

Just another clip for you. My old car a 14 and manual but same exhaust setup. It breaks necks and sets off car alarms also surprising quiet when cruising.
  13. Need advice on buying Mustang

If I had 145k I probabky buy a 2016 Viper ACR for the investment and uniqueness of the car.
  14. Looking for the right exhaust

Here is a video of my setup for sound reference.
  15. Looking for the right exhaust

I second Roush AB with X or H pipe. I love the sound little to zero done. Not really a deep sound because this is a mod motor after all but screams when you on it. I've run this setup on both of my mustangs and always get compliments.
  16. MT-82 Improvements

Like others have said the newer gens are slightly better but the MGW is a must if you ask me. First because it feels so much nicer to shift and second you wont have to worry about 3rd gear lockout. My 2014 GT had the MT82 and had 3 transmissions replaced under warranty by ford. The car was bone...
  17. Sharing My (Wife's) Modded Supercharged Q5

He got the motor for 1000$ and picked up a 6r80 and f150 transfer case for another 1000$ itll be about 7500$ after its all said and done and its been a project for a about a year now hes just waiting for me to get time off so I can head up to his house and we can hopefully just go at it for a...
  18. Sharing My (Wife's) Modded Supercharged Q5

Its a little different than the wranglers that for sure. The 4.0 is a dog in terms of speed but man that thing is reliable as hell. My buddy has a 06 Rubicon Unlimited and hes in the processing of swapping his 4.0 out for the Coyote. Hes prepping the motor and everything to go in this summer. We...
  19. tx2k20

My house as its only a 3 hours drive. I would look at like montgomery or corpus christi. Some place that it about 45minutes away as they will be much cheaper than anywhere inside houston.
  20. Sharing My (Wife's) Modded Supercharged Q5

Hey my wife's Jeep takes offense to that. People always say I call it her car so I can get away with having a second fun vehicle and that I just disguised my new toy as her birthday present.
