  6. Per Ford (officially) the 2011-2019 F150/Mustang 5.0 “Typewriter Tick” is a normal characteristic

Dealer is telling you the truth. It's normal in Mustang Coyote engines. But in other engines it would not be normal. So the dealer is not lying.
  7. Per Ford (officially) the 2011-2019 F150/Mustang 5.0 “Typewriter Tick” is a normal characteristic

Exactly. Ford says "Oh that's normal" and they don't tell you what is causing the noise? That's BS. No engine should make that noise. And why does it happen after an oil change mostly?
  8. Per Ford (officially) the 2011-2019 F150/Mustang 5.0 “Typewriter Tick” is a normal characteristic

Well, that to me is the same thing. "Operating characteristics" should be across the board. Not some do it and others not.

What gets me and I don't know if it's already been said, because I didn't read the whole thread. But if it's normal all of them should be doing it. That would make it normal. But if only some are doing it then it's not normal.

  12. 2018 Cobra Jet Mustang (50th Anniversary Limited Edition) Unveiled at Woodward!

I didn't say the competition didn't have an idea. All the cars in this class run really close numbers. You asked what HP it made to run mid 8 seconds and I told you. I don't know what the race weight of the cars are though. So that 950 HP is just an estimate @ 3000 lbs. But I'm sure it's right...
  13. 2018 Cobra Jet Mustang (50th Anniversary Limited Edition) Unveiled at Woodward!

Mid 8 seconds is a big variable 8.4 to 8.6. So they still aren't really saying much. They don't say how much it weighs and say it would run over 150 MPH. At 3000 lbs it would take 950 HP to run 8.36 seconds at 159 MPH
  14. 2018 Cobra Jet Mustang (50th Anniversary Limited Edition) Unveiled at Woodward!

Why would you let the competition know your HP and Torque. That would be dumb.
