I test drove one this Saturday, I like the seating position better in the camaro. Seat all the way down. Mine sits way too freaking high. All this negative talk on the camaro as a car, totally different in my opinion, I think its a better car. I don't like the engine, but that's it.
I almost bought a camaro because I wanted a manual transmission, and I heard nothing good about the MT82. I drove a camaro, and I just didn't like the powerband, felt all down low, and falling on top, like a pickup engine.
My MT82 might be a little whiny, or it could be the poly bushings...
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the sound when it's cold, sounds better when it's warm, and or on e85. I put my first tank of 91 in a few days ago, think I'll go back to e85, doesn't get that cold here anyway. Love the sound of the ghost cam tune, but the longest I've had it in was a few days, drives...
I bought my first new Mustang GT when I was 24, people still thought my parents bought it for me. It was a white 1995 GTS!! Started dating my wife shortly after I bought it, she was way out of my league, so of course everybody said she was dating me for my car. Traded the car on a Toyota...
The only engine I broke in easy, used oil. Now I get the oil up to temp, full throttle in 3rd, then coast back down. I do that a few times every time I drive them, until I hit 1,000 miles, then I can relax and do whatever I want. First oil change at 5,000 miles, and every 5,000 after that. I...
ARH catless headers and Corsa Extreme, 45 years old. Sad that the bark is so much worse than it's bite. Bullet bike guy with a gopro strapped to his helmet was dead set on roll racing me.
Wife's car, with 11,000 miles needed to be replaced. Ford guys did a great job on the repair. Mine has 23,000 and is still fine, but I'm nervous about it.
Yeah, catless headers and corsa extremes. Even driving very lightly it has a very different sound, the gt350 manifold and e85 changed the tone a little too. People pull up all the time when I'm driving, then back away, like if they are curious what it is.
I love driving my stick, GTPP with headers and GT350 manifold is perfect. I'd really like more power, but I think it'd ruin the feel of the car. If I want boost, I'll steal my wife's car and sell mine.
My wife's stock auto gets beat quite easily by a stock scat pack challenger. I thought it'd be closer than it was, according to this site, "it's a drivers race". Quarter mile time might be close, but I bet it had about 5 mph on be by the way he flew by. Those big boats can't get off the line...
Thanks for the review!! It'd be a lot cheaper for me to switch if I had bought the SCT instead of the NGauge. Might still do it though.
I've gone around and around with Lund over the rev hang. Logged it for them and everything. Gave up.
Yeah, I think my mustang has the best shifting transmission that I've owned. It shifts great, even with my GT350 manifold and headers spinning to 7,800 rpm, no lock outs, ever.
I wish I had gotten the base Mustang and saved some money. I did get around $4,000 off sticker and 0% for six years, but my sticker was $45,885. A base GT with recaro seats would have been nice.
Mine has the surging until the oil is up to temperature. It did it stock, and it does it tuned. It's very noticeable, very annoying.
I've never noticed it on my wife's car, maybe because it's an auto.
