I know how you feel. On black it's even worst since the silver sticks out like a sore thumb! I've resolved to simply painting over it with some gloss black on mine. It'll be too expensive to get it repaired each time I scratch it a bit. Eventually if it's really bad, then I'll get it...
Well, I washed the car on Saturday arvo and then spread some ground chilli from woolies all over the floor around the car. No cats on the car since, however it's been a wet couple of days so that might've been a reason too. Also damn rain means my car is dirty again! :(
The EuroNCAP issue is due to the car not several key features like lane departure assistance and the rear seats not being baby friendly (duh it's a fucking sports car). Changing the shape of the nose would do diddly squat to improve the rating.
Yeh been thinking of going the DIY route too. Call me stingy, but can't justify $30 for a tiny strap lol.
You can remove the plastic screw pretty easily from the boot, just pull it out. There you can get the measurement pretty easily. But I'd like a close up at what screw they are using to...

Unfortunately no. I live in a nanny state country. No guns and no toys that looks like guns.
That is bloody genius! lol But seems like a lot of work and equipment though.
Don't think the money is enough to cover a repaint from the cat scratch though. :( Thankfully I don't see any scratches yet.
So every time I wash my car, the neighbor cat decides in the middle of the night to jump onto it and take a piss on it. As I understand it, cats do this because they have a medical condition that is call a lead deficiency which apparently can be fixed by putting a couple of bullets up their...
Yeh I know what it supposed to look like but haven't seen it on the Mustang before. I've seen it on other cars. I did try to change my Oxford White to Platinum white but was too late when I tried to change it so was given Oxford White. Don't really regret it. Oxford white looks amazing with the...
I've been seeing Mustangs on both days of this week! On monday I saw a Deep Impact Blue heading up to Canning Hwy from Kwinana Fwy in the morning around 7:45am and then a Tripple Yellow on the Kwinana Fwy south on the narrow bridge around 4:40pm on the way home. Then today saw a black one near...
