Did this ever get answered? Mine looks like that too. The tensioner arm is pointing almost straight up. Whipple told me to ignore the markings on the tensioner. I was worried the tensioner pulley would hit the nearest idler pulley. Haven't started the car yet.
I wonder how many TR3160s that get sold on ebay end up in sitting in someone's garage, waiting to be transplanted into a 5.0. I would have just sold my car and bought a GT350, but it ended up being around $10K-$15K cheaper to buy the transmission, clutch, etc., and a Whipple supercharger.
