I really liked my 08 Bullitt, but never cared much for the 3v. The Voodoo is amazing, but there is a degree of NVH with it, and it likes to be really wound up, which isn't something that you can do a lot of just driving around.
If this car is only around 25-35 hp less on 91 octane, and that...
Depending on price, I'm seriously considering trading in the Shelby on one of these. I am not a big fan of the red calipers- black or grey would be better. Also, I'd probably consider putting on a new decklid panel.
No- you are right. I thought that I had seen an interview with a Ford exec but all i could find was a Matt Marian video. The Ford PR does say limited production. Apologies. https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2018/01/14/50th-anniversary-mustang-bullitt.html
That sure isn't what the gentleman that I talked to told me. I was told that I was flat SOL, which made me hella sad, and not a little piqued, because I loved track attack with my Boss so much.
I guess I call again in a few months and try again?
I realized today that that application says "must apply and attend" in one year from purchase. Not just apply.
So, I called about my November car the other day, and was told I missed my chance.
Maybe from when I went to the Boss track attack, I forgot this.
Under real light throttle? It's pretty noticeable and goes away?
I guess I should see if it goes away after it gets to operating temp? It's not like there are a lot of 350s around to compare it with!
I run 91 / non-ethanol in my car, which is as good as I can find in my area. I seem to have a great deal of what sounds like spark knock under light throttle, which goes away at WOT. Anyone else notice this, have it? It's starting to bother me.
I might be a bit high on the miles. I had my Boss for 5 years and put 25 on it. There was one or two small chips on it? I doubt the paint work has dropped off that precipitously since 2011.
I'm not either. I'll put about 5k miles on a year as it is my daily driver- and when it comes time to trade in in about 7 to 10 years the dealership isn't going to offer me 3k more on trade in based on 3 to 5 small rock chips that I'm likely to have.
Having said that, I keep my cars pretty...
Feel the same way. Very happy with my recaros and glad that I waited on the 17. I love the electronics package and was able to get mine a bit under the MSRP. I did not get quite what I wanted on my B2 trade in, but that's what it is. The dealer also knows that I being coming to the dealership...
Pretty happy without the stripes. I went back and forth a lot on that when ordering- as I did with colors. I came from a Boss 302, and was tired of having loud-ish stickers on my daily driver. I eventually decided that I liked the subtlety of the rig without, and the black roof / AVG seem to...
