Gee, keep in mind the fuel pump is in the tank and depends on gasoline to keep the pump and its motor cool. Don't make it a habit of running below a 1/4 tank or you may develop premature pump failure esp. during warm weather conditions.
I did remove mine on Sunday. Used a hair dryer very hot and all glue came with sticker. Then buffed the pressed area with GooGone and micro towel.....can not tell where the sticker had been....very clean, J
Visor Label
The first one was soaked, then removed Took an hour or more. I got smart for the second realizing most glues become active when heat is applied. That said, I took a hair dryer and heated the second label until I could just touch it (pretty hot as some would say). Next I began to...
I just remove them from my Pony . I used wife's hair dryer on hi heat. and when the label was almost too hot to touch peeled it off starting from a corner. then used GooGone and buffed the cloth area to remove all traces of the glue and press mark. Can't tell it was ever there.Took less than 10...
89 Trooper, I just removed the label on right side with GooGone and will be doing drivers side shortly. Took about an hour but all glue is gone and visor looks like new without a label. Just takes some time . I didn't remove the visor just put it door side and sat with my legs out the open door...
I'm with CMC#5... I got the 400 and really like the heated and cooled seats. The sound system is fine for my likes in music. I had a huge sound system in a Crwn Vic. and when I wanted to listen to news /sports the stations would drive me half nuts with the back ground drum beats coming thru the...
I don't run at the track, only public roadways., Only use Sunoco 87oct. and have no pinging etc. seems fine . I think the cpu adjusts for the various fuels and altitudes. I have no plans to go to a higher octane.
I don't mean to be a smart a** but actually the only time it's ok to slip a clutch is when you're on a motorcycle because they are built with multiple clutch plates and seldom need replaced. A car has only one normally with a bike having 5 or more. J
Just installed Redline today. Approx. 45minutes max. Great product ,excellent directions for installation and work better than I anticipated. Ordered from CY Pony on Thursday and in the mail box this morning. No more worry that the hood will slip from my hand and slam down to cause a creased...
I live just 45 minutes SE of Pgh, Pa Ford trucks to here (no rail service needed). My build date was Dec.17,2014 and I took delivery on afternoon of Dec. 26,14. I think it all depends on carrier timing after Ford plant releases the car to the carrier. Wish you well, J
I hope that not too many Guards are sold....... I like the fact that heads turn when I drive mine. Yea, I know , but it's only one of the seven sins...... :)
Did the garage suggest changing the oil early? With the oil blends today and quality filters I wonder why the need unless the car is operating in extreme temp. or dusty roads. Your thoughts?
I just got my GT with auto. I too am not a teenager. The thought of clutching again just doesn't impress me. BTW it does seem to shift as quickly as a power shift, altho when I run my Harley I tend to spend time with the clutch active. Also enjoyed the same back in the 60's with my 65 rag top. J
My car was built on 12-17-14 and I took delivery on 12-26 (yesterday). Came by convey only (no Rail). I think every one involved with delivery is trying their best to get the cars actually sold by 12-31-14 for fourth quarter earnings and tax reasons too. Bet you that are waiting will be smiling...
