No, it wont. Car's factory ECU is commanded to pull timing when it see's certain parameter's happening. This is were the load factor plays a huge part with these cars. I bet if you made another pull today, it would read something different.
What they will end up doing is sending you test files to see if it loads.
Have to remember its a computer system, Some may be fine. I know of 4 BAMA tuned 15s here that work just fine. I have at least 20 in the last week we have remote tuned as well.
I hope it works out for though.
Its not just the cats, It's coolant temps (which is HUGE), dynos, IATs, heck the load on the dyno, ect.
If you want that 10hp, add more air to the rear tires. Watch it show more. I have seen multi shops (when i lived in Mass) do this. It works too.
A dyno is a tool to tune and show what is...
If you only waited 30minutes from a 50mile drive(1hr worth of driving at prob 65-75mph constant) your car was still a good 220* coolant temp on that short of a cooling period. I can see the factory ECU pull timing but even the hp loss is nothing to make me question anything.
Wow.. I just read the last few pages and I CAN HONESTLY SAY I 100000000% AGREE with Terry on this.
DO a complete system using the Stainless Works brand and you will see the actual NET gains. Esp in the mid range.
also.... Anything post 2005 on a catback style system or just an axle back...

If they sent you a different vehicle tune, it would not run in your car. That is why the computer code / Stradegy is very important.
If their is an issue with their end, then they will have to fix it. I know that if their is something wrong with our tunes, I will make sure its fixed so you can...
Yes that is correct. A better way though is to plug the device in, go under vehicle info and get the 7 digit STRADEGY code. This is the car's true ID #.
You don/t have to use the charger every time but it does help. What I do, is turn EVERYTHING off, doors closed, ect and load it. But if you...
On windows 8, you need to install the driver's to use the X4s. This is not new.
If you have a custom tune on the device by a tuner, it will disable the pre-loaded file that is on it. Being its a new car and since 2005, Ford uses different computer codes which require different measures /...

The problem with these is 1 side cat is built into the exhaust manifold so cat deletes are out of the question. MAK makes a pipe but cutting and welding may be required.
If it was me, I would save up and do it all. It's a good 20-30hp increase and worth it when the time is right bud.
But you are. Like I said before, since the early pushrod days, removing the cats will net you horsepower in different ranges. Mostly top end.
With a tune, its a good 15+ hp with a ORX or H. Cat delete pipes on the 11-14s were seeing about the same as actual off road pipes.
Tuning with cats...
Removing cats by itself will free up a good 10+hp esp in the mid to upper range. This has been seen since Foxbody days if not older. The tuning side of is what will make the change that you can feel.
