**Sold**550 shipped. Only has 200 miles on it. Would like to sell it to someone local Oklahoma City if possible. Love the sound and it get's lots of attention. It's just too loud for me because I'm old. lol PM me if interested
Well I'm not going to steer anyone to any certain company or be a fan boy. I'm just going to post my experience thus far with the tuners & tunes I have purchased and installed. Say what you will... This is my story...
I purchased an SCT X4 from Bama/AM and just didn't feel like it did much...
The Lap Joint Clamps and readjusting the pipe definitely helped. I had the mufflers all the way up which are really close to the sway bar. Not sure if that was part of it or not. Moving it down about a half inch and the clamps made it better.
I tested around with different deadening...
Guess I'm kind of old school... I like a few needed upgrades here and there where it is lacking... a few HP ugrades... but man I'm witnessing a lot of Mod Murders on this site. I think I'm just going to get out and drive in this 75 degree Oklahoma weather today. How about that for Mod of...
Not here in Oklahoma City they don't. lol Maybe that's a New York thing. All these cowboys around here would be pissed. They all back in with their big trucks.
I have never ever seen one of those signs in all of my travel... Interesting for sure. That's probably something new for the truck guys that practice the back in parking for the quick getaways. lol
I appreciate the input...
Not sure I want to spend a lot of time making the J pipe. Hopefully the stainless Lap Joint clamps will be here soon and the FatMat I ordered and I will give that a try. From what I'm reading it seems to be a bigger issue with the Performance Pack cars that don't...
I'm not totally giving up on it yet... I am going to replace those cheap clamps with some stainless lap joint clamps. Then put some fat mat in the spare tire area and some of the flooring above the mufflers. See if that makes any difference. I don't think it's that loud on the outside but if I...
My take on all this...
I haven't been happy with my Bama Tune and realized that Bama can only do so much with the X4. I will just leave it at that. I decided to reach out to Jon Lund II. Jon gave me the low down. I appreciate his time and customer service. I'm looking forward to getting their...
I have only had mine on for about a week now.
I hate to say after taking a little 30 mile highway trip yesterday not sure my 49 year old ears can handle it. I love the sound around town. The drive by sounds awesome. However 65 to 75 on the highway the hum, drone and vibration is killing me...
:eyebulge: YEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssss! **Fist pump**
hahaha... Hang on... I don't feel any smarter... what gives? I think it's broken!
lol
Hahahaa... Great stuff guys. Nice to get a good laugh in this morning.
Well looky there... My S550 creds have doubled this morning. From 7 to 14... I'm a freaking Genius!
Thanks Fog I appreciate that.
Funny how CGT is claiming to take the high road when he made this personal Calling me the Michelin man and asking if I went on a diet. I never went to name calling. It's all good. I think we have just seen what CGT is and that's a forum troll. CGT is a self...
Lol... good one... but you are correct... you don't know who you're talking with either. Might take your own advice. Let me fill you in... I have 20 plus years in the tire business... I worked for American Tire Distributors for 4 years and I distributed Pirelli, Continental, Michelin, GoodYear...
Hahaha... You keep doing your research... they don't make a 255/40ZR19 for the front of the Performance Pack. I was referring to the Manufactures that make OE sizes. Continental is big overseas and make a good tire... however it will never beat the Michelin in the real world. You can look all...
Not sure why anyone would purchase the OE Pirelli's again anyway when you can buy the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3. They will perform better and last about twice as long for us guys that have winter temps. Check them out and compare them at Tire Rack. Pretty good info there.
I don't see it as a problem... Helps me line up past the garage door. When you pull your emergency brake it goes off. Pretty sure it was designed that way. Once you hit a certain mph it goes off as well. So is yours staying on after you pull away?
