Nothing for me either... If I were to call my dealer, wouldn't they have the same info I'd be able to see in COTUS..?

Man that's tough. I just ordered recently so I don't have anything yet. Still waiting. But I do think it's bs. I'd want to make sure that the issue is resolved before it's delivered to me though. However, you'd think that it shouldn't take as long as you've been waiting. Hope it gets worked out...

Now, I just placed my order on 09/26. It could be a moot point. There are a few people that ordered a few days or so before me and have gotten their VINs and production date. Is it likely that I could get a VIN today?

You're right about that. I fully expect them to flip the car if I were to trade. My wife and I had a 2010 Escape that started having issues. It was out of warranty and had a lot of miles. It was my wife's daily driver and she's a special needs teacher so she has to drive to different schools...
