Yeah we were on the same page...you got my wheels turning about a different outlining color which would also be thicker down the middle instead of the black. Ill see what I can do to put some other eye catching color in there just to see what it would look like

The red would be something that matches the wheels, so not as dark. Ill look into something radically contrasting - thanks...

Put my newly powder coated wheels back on today, finally after the powder coaters had them for 3 weeks:

Finally got my powder coated wheels back today and deleted the old vinyl stripes over the weekend. Everything is coming together. A couple more changes then I will get the stripes painted back on:

What are they charging you to paint the stripes on if you don't mind sharing...???

Kinda confused when you said you heard a slight clunk, the engine shut itself off & you didn't think anything of it...did you think that was normal? I would have been trying to figure out WTF right then. Good luck with this and hopefully it is something simple

The wheels will be back on Tuesday. I was trying to figure out the stripes. Do you like the solid black stripe down the middle or the white stripe? I think the white stripe looks cleaner but the black stripe looks meaner:

Good advice - I didn't think about that. I am going to do some Autocross if the events ever open back up but not sure about anything else right now.

Painted on the car - only removed the pad pins. I got a good set of small brushes and took my time. This paint is only temporary until I have the downtime to remove them for powdercoating.

Painted the Brembos black with white lettering - just waiting on the wheels to be done at powdercoaters:

If jealous - can you post more pics of where each stripe begins and ends? I probably wont get mine done for a few months but I just have more time to see what others have done. Great looking car and I love the painted stripes.

Definitely gonna ceramic coat - wheels will be another week but I will post for sure.

Is this a stock factory stripe (fat stripe in the middle with 2 accent stripes on the outside) on a GT350 or is it aftermarket? If it's stock, what years was it available? Still trying to decide what style stripe I want to put on my girl
