Someone's gotta try them for us to find out right? It's a bit deeper in person, but i'm not happy with it. Just trying to find a combo that works for me.
I have the JLT CAI and when you get on it, you can definitely hear it sucking the air in. I don't think i've ever owned a car/CAI that I could hear the intake from inside the cabin so well. It comes with a cap as well, so if you want the blow-off you can get that too. Definitely noticeable in...
Did it change the tone at all? Or just increase overall volume of the system? I was thinking about swapping out the resonators and hoping to find a slightly deeper tone. I think if we could get it similar to MagnaFlows it will sound pretty nice with the Roush mufflers.
I've had mine about a week. It's not bad, have had a few people compliment me on it. I have a JTL intake as well.
I'm not sure i'll ever be fully happy with the sound coming out of this car, but you can definitely hear the turbo come through. No drone driving at any speed that I have...
Installed a JLT CAI saturday and noticed no difference. Also coincided with installing roush axle-backs.
Weather has been kinda cruddy with snow, so haven't really got on it hard - but feels about the same as it did before.
Installed my Roush Axle-back and JTL CAI this weekend. Car is stock other than that.

Video was like 3-4 minutes, but for some reason it was corrupted when I went to transfer it off my phone. :frusty: iphones :frusty:
Not a long clip, but the last tiny bit. Video is jacked even in...
I apologize for asking what might be a noob question, though I did attempt to search for this topic (and am a daily forum reader) but did not come up with much other than chambered mufflers might cause too much back pressure.
I was curious if doing a muffler delete and running straight pipes...
My base EB has a little over 2000 miles on it and I consistantly see over the window stick mpgs. I have seen 24+ mpg the last two tanks, each one higher than the previous - and this is all city driving. Although a short trip, the ~2-3 hour round trip to Denver and back netted me ~39mpg. It is...
Think most of us are still waiting on the aftermarket harnesses, mounting kits, etc to be released. I'd keep my eye on Crutchfield, someone on this forum had contacted them and received a response that they were working on it, but the parts aren't ready yet.
There will no doubt be tons of...
My car: Base auto EcoBoost w/ 17s. I've filled it up with 91 since I got the car.
Although it's not a full tank's worth of measuring, i reset my trip counter prior to leaving my house in Colorado Springs and drove up to Denver. Mixed highway/city at the start and finish of the trip, with most...
I got mine done 30% all around in the Springs for about $150. I forget the exact price as it was several weeks ago, but I got it done in the Powers center next to the old K-mart. No issues so far with peeling or bubbles, was a pretty quick turn around as well. Might be worth giving them a...
I was torn between this and DIB. It could have went either way, and I still kinda regret not going DIB some days. I do love this color too though.
I bought mine at Phil Long Chapel Hills down here in the Springs. Only the second car i've bought new as well, and definitely a jump in power...
