Lol he probably figured he had it in the bag since he got so far out on me.
  2. Hypermotives next Project: Slow Roller

Got the car out to the track this weekend. 3500 DA and managed a best of 11.06@134. Better air and some more seat time and she'll be in the tens :) [ame]
  3. Corsa Exhaust with Headers

here is another customers car with the same setup but with cats. The race cats really tame the car down as well. [ame]
  4. Hypermotives next Project: Slow Roller

They 3.8 pulley is only rated to 7.5 to 8.5psi at redline so to see 9/10 on the 3.6 seems about right. Im waiting on the 3.0 pulley to come in. We figure that one will see 14psi or so. The JT-B is pretty efficient. yea thats chucks old garage. he sold it last year. The front end of...
  5. Hypermotives next Project: Slow Roller

Got the car on the dyno today. Still wrapping up some tuning but overall the car drives like stock, pulls like a freight train. The top end pull of this car is just insane. On E85 and 9-10 PSI of boost the car made 692/522 SAE and spinning the car to 8k RPM. On to the video! [ame]
  6. Hypermotives next Project: Slow Roller

I'm in OKC so I have E85 everywhere. Video of a 3-4 pull while letting my friend drive. Yes I giggled lol. [ame]
  7. Hypermotives next Project: Slow Roller

For the most part it's straight forward. The only issue is if you've never tapped an oil pan before make sure you know someone that has. That part was a little intimidating. Also the oil feed needs a little extra attention because it's in a tight location I recommend pulling the alternator to...
  8. Hypermotives next Project: Slow Roller

All wrapped up. Ken Bjonnes is handling the tuning on her now and the car is currently on the 3.8 pulley with a 3.6 on the shelf standing by. So on E85 I feel like the car hits alot harder than my 12 TVS car on E85 and 8.5 psi. The 3.8 is showing right around 10-11 psi and Im spinning the car...
  9. Hypermotives next Project: Slow Roller

The blower had arrived and the install has begun!
  10. Paxton's little brother

That's good to know. It was my understanding we couldn't swap that due to the torsen.
  11. Finally ordered OPG's, Crank Sprocket and ATI balancer

They're pretty solid. There are quite a few local cars here running them.
  12. Paxton's little brother

Which ring and pinion setup did you use? I was still under the impression they don't make a 3.31 for the PP torsen diff.
  13. Ok to reuse stock gaskets with headers

same here stock studs, and gaskets. zero issues on the 3 cars ive done headers on.
  14. In preparation for FI - while doing OPGS and Timing gear

we can get them for you. This is more of a safety recommendation than anything. I do not know if there have been any reported failures, however my engine guy (local coyote guru) recommends upgrading them because the reg none boss tensioners are weak. He made a stock 14 motor live at 725...
