Went to "Fuel Good Friday" with my 11-year old and a buddy from work, hosted by Aeromotive Performance Parts in Lenexa, KS.
A GTD showed up a few minutes after us, driver put it in Neutral and gave it a few revs before parking. Needless to say, the mob crowded around it. As many have mentioned...
Yes, it only makes the whine when the AC is operating. 99% of the time I drive with the windows down and AC off. Just this year I started using the AC more often and the whine stood out.
I rarely use my A/C, I could count in both hands how many times since new. I have 11k miles vs your 70k, but I noticed the "supercharger" noise when it is running. What causes that, and does that mean it's about to crap out?
The branded title doesn't look appealing to most buyers. Same goes for the no radio/air conditioning option. It's out of warranty and still priced above original MSRP. I believe the price is fair, even negotiable.
Grabber Blue Base R. Carfax states Buyback/Lemon at around ~1,300 miles:

Is this another increase after the one back in April?

That GTD sounds sooo good, especially ripping gears.
GT500 owners, how similar is it to your car? I see it has an Akropovic exhaust, but would like to know if it's close to that, as I might have to switch the R 😬.
Fun Fact:
There were more '05-'06 Ford GT's manufactured (4,038 units) vs '15-'20 GT350R's (3,647 units).
Also, more '06 Heritage GT's (343 units) vs '20 Heritage GT350R's (281 units)
Hey now, Ford gave us the Ford GT, which won LeMans on its 2016 debut, which also marked the 50th anniversary of the original GT40 winning LeMans on its debut as well.
Sure, it isn't a hybrid, and costs 3X-5X the Corvette, but winning LeMans is a pretty big flex.
I agree wholeheartedly...
At least in the Hellcat forums, I've read Canadian spec cars that are imported to the U.S. will void the factory warranty and the car will be "blacklisted", in case you try another dealership. Again, this is from members in another forum/brand. Might be different for Ford, so hopefully they are...
I second all of this. Exact same experience with the factory Cup2's on my R since new, got 9k miles out of them. I replaced them with a set of lightly used Cup2's that I found here for $500 or else I'd went with PS4S.
