  1. I was not a big fan of the Black Appearance Package!

That looks really good! I wouldn't have thought that I'd like the black accent on Kona. I keep telling myself that I don't like the black accent wheels, yet every time I see them I seem to forget that and love how the car looks :p
  2. Premium fuel or Regular? GT Coyote V8

For real? That's a little upsetting - what other brands have you compared to? Which do you find offers the most "premium" premium fuel?
  3. Automatic shifter movement right/left, normal?

That play looks normal. It would be nice to see zero movement since this auto shifter doesn't have a side slot for +/- "manual" shifting (please Ford, add this to accompany the paddle shifters), but wouldn't worry about what you see in the video.
  4. Mixing 0W20 with 5W30 oil in the 2018 Ecoboost

    1) Don't mix oil types and weights unless you're in a bind (need to increase oil levels to go somewhere to buy correct oil). 2) Mobil 1 is good stuff. 3) There are many reasons why you saw less MPG on Mobil 1 - the biggest possibility is that the Mobil 1 that you tested wasn't 0W20. If both...
  5. Winter Tire Size Question

I'm 99% sure that 17s are a no-go on the GT. I think they would fit on an eco-boost, though....does Ford still sell the eco with 17s?
  6. 2018 Quirks - what have you noticed?

...That's not a quirk, but a potential big safety issue. Can anyone else here replicate this?
  7. Do I need to break in my new 18...

The talk of "engines being broken in at the factory" makes me imagine a huge room with hundreds of 5.0s being run at various RPMs. I want to visit that place.
  8. It's Here! My 2019 Mustang Bullitt Delivery and First Drive.

Awesome first video! Love your reaction at the rev matching - can't wait to see more! :D
  9. Rev match like the new Bullit?

How so? The only pain that I could see is if for some reason you decided to drop to 1st while making an entrance, in which case a loud exhaust + rev match could frighten someone standing on the corner of the street. I drive with an auto rev-matching transmission every day, and as long as...
  10. Rev match like the new Bullit?

I missed this video - where can I view this?
  11. remote start listed on 2019 manual window sticker

This might be possible, given that the 2019 6MT likely has sensors detecting the position of the shifter. If this is the case, it would likely work so that remote start is possible if the shifter is in the neutral position, which would be slick for starting the car in a level garage on cold...
  12. Rev match like the new Bullit?

It's been discussed here a lot over the past months, but it's more than simple programming. There has to be additional sensors within the transmission housing so that the engine knows the selected gear and can hold RPM accordingly. FYI - not just a Bullitt feature - it'll be standard on all...
  13. JLT Oil Separator on a used Mustang?

You're over thinking it. While oil vapors are being circulated through your engine, your 2016 is port injected, meaning your valves are being hosed down with fuel detergents constantly. As long as you use top-tier fuel (which is most major fuel brands), you will see almost zero performance /...
  14. Retrofit 2019 Bullitt Digital Dash Gear Display in a 2018?

As mentioned above, the 2019 6MT likely has sensors within the transmission to detect the selected gear. A simple dash swap out will probably not display the gear. The bigger question is will the non-digital dash 2019 6MTs have a place to display gear, or will this be a digital dash only feature?
  15. Don't buy a catch can unless...

I've always thought of catch cans as a gimmick. They likely provide some benefits on direct inject only engines, but for port or hybrid inject, the benefits will be minimal. Just one more thing to check / clean / empty. The engine does a fine job of burning / disposing of this crap on its...
  16. Kona Blue 2019 Bullitt Mustang (Ford Auction for JDRF Charity)

My thoughts exactly - when I first saw that you have to pay income tax on the car, I thought that it was crazy. The more I thought about it, I realized that it's still a good deal. I'm constantly in the market for a Mustang, and if a dealer contacted me saying that he had a limited 1 of 1...
  17. Kona Blue 2019 Bullitt Mustang (Ford Auction for JDRF Charity)

Love the cause, love the car. There goes $20. :)
  18. Oil Wear between different brands

No surprises really - step 1) Make sure your car has oil.
  19. Questions regarding options on a 2019 and trade in value on a 2016

Used Mustangs hit dealer lots at crazy high prices - there is a 2016 GT Convertible sitting on a lot near my office for $34K with 38K miles. I suspect it's a big driving force behind Ford adding the GT to their lease program for 2019.
  20. Vibration in steering wheel

^What he said. Car is fine, tires are out of balance. It doesn't take much to knock it out of whack, and performance type cars usually get steering vibrations more than economy cars because they're designed for you to "feel the road" (tires) more than new drive by wire cars.
