Did the same mod last weekend. The hot knife works but the honey comb is pretty thick and may take some time, or at least it did with my hot knife. If i could do it over again i would start with dremel to get most of the material then move to a flat file to get the edges then maybe a hot knife...

I don't personally have this setup but when put CAI on other vehicles you get that whistle at certain RPM levels. Pretty sure it is normal and probably sounds awesome??

Not sure if this is a noob question but any issues with water coming through the hood vents onto the filter? I live in the NW where it rains 9 months out of the year. Thanks!

My dealer txted me yesterday and said they tagged mine to get expedited, so hopefully that helps but not sure that will speed up the rail time. Mine still shows awaiting shipment lol. :frusty:

Mine says 4/8 at the bottom as well. My dealer said it was re-released on the 13th though so not sure how substantial that date is. They just need to ship our cars already :frusty:

No kidding... My sales guy said my car was supposed to be delivered 4/18 but was recalled back for some issue then re-released from the plant on 4/13 and is currently awaiting shipment. Extremely frustrating and I'm concerned about what the issue was... 3 weeks and counting awaiting shipment...

Can you take a screen shot of your window sticker if it hasn't updated in COTUS? I noticed that my window sticker has different markings than others and wonder if i have the same issue...

So I haven't made any mods yet, still waiting for delivery but i don't plan on modding heavily for a while but i've given serious thought to an awesome N/A build and what products i would go with. Here it goes... Motor mods: 1) JLT CAI 2) Lund tune 3) Kooks LT headers paired with FRPP...

Anybody pair the FRPP Touring catback with LT headers? I'm thinking this might be the perfect sound level since I feel like the FRPP Sport with LT headers is a bit too loud.

Ok guys quick update. COTUS has showed "awaiting shipment" since 3/31 and no EDD. Prior EDD was 4/24. My salesman just txted me saying he just received an ETA of 4/18... I really hope that is accurate because COTUS never updated for me... But hopefully this will be good news for some of you that...
