MR. chazcron? I'm only a few years older. The pix or it didn't happen didn't occur to me until after. Ha, Tony, embargo... Mr. Alonzo gave me a ride back to work in his rather nice GT. Hopefully not the last M6G meetup. I'm thinking maybe a trip to NAIAS is in order this year.

This cutaway will further help clarify the mystery of the black strip. If anyone missed it, JarStang's sources confirmed it its the rear decklid.

Thanks, NeedLottery, I'm getting tired of having to try to explain that. Kudos, mini cobra, for busting out the Photoshop.

That is one excellent point. It would explain why I couldn't get my pony to reflect tha light that way.

I'm pretty sure the roofline from the sideview is accurate. More likely, the top of the window leans in more at the C-pillar making it visible in that three quarter view. I've stared down that C-pillar so many times trying to get it right. That will be the first thing I investigate at the...

The window is flush at the A-pillar, level with the moulding on that A-pillar. Same at the B-pillar. That's why I have the glass flush at the top of the C-pillar. But, like it or not, I "believe" the bottom of the glass at the C-pillar is inset by 3-4 inches. That is the transition I can't...

Yeah, it bugs me too. I have never figured out how to blend the top window moulding into the backside of the rear quarter window. I guess we will find out in a couple of weeks.

One shade of Grey I finally managed to model the HiPo SVT wheels. I have the pony in back, but no special hood, no side scoops and no quad tailpipes yet. With no new teaser from Ford, these will have to do.

Linked gif, dancing bear. Probably better that you can't see it.

It is still up, no new comments. but nine likes!

It is the low angle. the bottom part is fairly wide, but is foreshortened in the teaser. The blackest strip in the bottom between the two highlights is the flat bottom of the trunklid, and is maybe four to six inches wide. the panel is pretty recessed.

I posted this as my guess as to what the pony shot is.. on the Ford Mustang Facebook page. Wonder if it will stay up.
