  1. Gen 3 variable oil pump

Where/how is it turned off? I hate how low it goes when it is warm at idle.
  2. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

I got to show my twin turbo install to Dennis Gage of "my classic car" at a small car show yesterday, and had him sit in my dad's '70 Mach 1.
  3. What is the size of the Factory Mach 1 Catback?

On my '22, it was 2.75", save for the outlet of the resonator, where it went all the way down to 2.25." I planned on keeping the stock exhaust after the resonator location on my TT build, but the passenger side angled so sharply towards the center of the car that I couldn't get things to line...

    That is the following day.
  5. Any Detroit area folks on this forum?

Anyone going to this on Saturday? I know in the past some of you have met up beforehand to drive in together: https://www.exoticcarconnections.com/event-details-registration/ecc-cars-coffee-3
  6. Gen 3 Valve Cover Bolts??

Not without removing one. Why not just pull out the easiest one to get to on your car?
  7. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Several. 1. It will be much easier to put the bumper cover back on, with less risk of scratching it, or your fenders while trying to line up the tray with it. 2. The tray can now easily come off for maintenence, and or stay off while you are getting your new install dialed in. I didn't...
  8. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Do yourself a favor and separate the tray, bumper cover, and lower chin spoiler. Only the latter uses rivets: once it's off, the tray is held onto the bumper cover with screws. You can then use rivnuts to make the lower spoiler bolt on as well.
  9. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

I finally got around to installing the "Stop the Hop" kit that I've had for a year.
  10. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

I finally had a warm enough window to wash it, but just barely. Huge storm about 20 minutes after getting it into the garage.
  11. 2022 Mach 1 Hellion Street Sleeper Install

There is a harness that plugs into the controller. I wired the two wires of the harness to my buttons, then just plugged in the harness. The controller acts as a boost guage, which is the primary reason I utilized that location. I sent you a PM. Give me a call and I'll answer all the...
  12. 2022 Mach 1 Hellion Street Sleeper Install

Eventually, but I'm not doing a full drag setup. I'm not expecting stellar 60ft times. For now, but the car is really fun to drive and generally stays hooked up at low boost settings. I do look forward to warmer weather for better traction.

I'm using the Eboost 2. The buttons are my own solution to logic built into the controller.
  14. 2022 Mach 1 Hellion Street Sleeper Install

I can't imagine that being an issue. It isn't sealed on the sides and back, and you have all of the airflow from the grille of the car providing a huge area for fresh air.

With just a little trimming, the aero/splash shield is back in place:

Thank you. My son did help a bit, but between homework and sports, it wasn't as much as I'd like. I'm not worried about the location of the air intakes. With the front splitter, the car can't go through a car wash, even from the factory. I don't intentionally drive in rain, and would wait out...

Thank you. I took my kids for their first ride the other night: I'm in western Plymouth, send me a PM when you'll be in the area.

I recently finished my winter project:

My kid's faces on their first low boost pull say it all.
  20. 2022 Mach 1 Hellion Street Sleeper Install

Thank you very much. I am very happy with how it turned out. I'll upgrade the clutch when I need to. Since I'm not applying max power in the lower gears, I think my clutch and tires will last a lot longer than if I was applying all the power from a standing start. I just took my kids for their...
