This is the other car from Nurburgring. Its not the GT350, so what is it? Is this a Cobra? It has quad exhaust and a more protruding front end (over the grill). Doesn't have the side fender extractors but does have a hood extractor. The side skirts are different from the GT350 and the rear...
GT500, GT500 Super Snake, Shelby 1000....yeah, real dubious performance.
The Shelby name deserves more recognition. Do you even realize what he did for FoMoCo? The man is an American Icon.
It's the extractor behind the front wheels on the front fenders. The picture is taken from the lower side rocker. You can see the front wheel on the right.
Jim Farley mentioned how that turbocharging changed things for them. Is he suggesting that this maybe a turbocharged engine in the GT350? There are a few clips from testing at Nurbergring where you can slightly here turbo hiss. Any thoughts?
Looks like full seats (recaros up front and back seat), full exhaust, no cage, side mirrors, rear view mirror and street tires in the back (soft compound?). Very interesting Ford. I think it's a street version of drag car.
The "GT350 vs. Z/28" topic on here is getting annoying. Stop measuring each others camshafts and move along. The proof will be on the track when the new GT350 comes out.
