  1. Test drove a Hellcat again today.

You're comparing a modded 145mph car to a stock Hellcat, what were you expecting?? My GSXR 1000 ran a best of 9.8 just under 140 and my Hellcat still impresses me for what it is. Mustang is cheaper to go fast but making reliable/little maint power in the HC is cheap/easy as well and actually a...
  2. Stock 2018 GT Auto vs Tuned 2017 GT Auto

Dig or drag race maybe but highway roll the A10 will still walk
  3. 2018 auto gt 3.15. tune questions

I don't see how this response helps the OP as he clearly didn't get this package...
  4. Any 18 manual 1/4 mi. times

Ace If you’re going with the camaro ss, you may want to see what the 2019 brings. Especially if auto, the a8 has had issues and paddles are slow to respond.
  5. Any 18 manual 1/4 mi. times

I own a gen ss and have driven the 18gt m6 but not the a10. The camaro absolutely feels punchier than the gt overall but you must be in track mode. Tour and sport are strange giving more at tip in but feeling lacking and strange at wot. The lt1 feels best from 4000-6000 where u feel a very...
  6. Any 18 manual 1/4 mi. times

Ugh the ADM is gonna be nasty likely making it unaffordable for me. $70K is my absolute limit. I'm expecting the GT500 to be the best out of the three.
  7. Any 18 manual 1/4 mi. times

I obviously can not post you tube street race vids here to show you. I honestly don't care that much anyway, just bored right now. The 18 stang and camaro are close in straight line stock/bolt ons, a matter of preference between the two really; however, if more into road course/race the camaro...
  8. Any 18 manual 1/4 mi. times

Camaro has 3.73's. Tops out in fifth(at 178 per you tube) but 1:1 in 4th... I have only seen one video where the stang pulls away at higher speed and that is on the motor trend head to head video. Most you tube vids out there do not show the GT m6 pulling away from the ss m6 at all. Bolt-on...
  9. Any 18 manual 1/4 mi. times

Sounds good in theory but also depends the speed the stang tops out at in 4th as if higher the the camaro in 4th, would be the difference right there. Since the coyote "breaths better" at higher rpm why ins't it pulling away at lower speeds as well once in powerband...
  10. Any 18 manual 1/4 mi. times

The stang is quicker in the triple digits due to trans gearing more than that extra 5hp and additional 100 lbs. Once the SS hits the top of 4th 1:1 gear (around 135) the acceleration slows significantly going into the 5th highway gear..
  11. Rev Match!!

I've always rev matched "manually" in the past but the camaro's rev match is one of my favorite features of the car and never drive with it turned off. It also doesn't let the revs drop too far on up shifts either making it the smoothest shifting I've ever experienced!
  12. MT Head 2 Head - 2018 Camaro SS 1LE vs 2018 Mustang GT

I have no reason to lie and I'm 5'11. I drive this car regularly and haven't noticed what you speak of of. My complaints are: the narrow sharply angled windshield combined with high drivers side dash(creating the cave like feel) and right rear terrible rear blind spot. The seats also hardly...
  13. MT Head 2 Head - 2018 Camaro SS 1LE vs 2018 Mustang GT

Besides relying on mirrors position/blind spot monitoring, the only true blind spot is the right rear quarter. I can look over my left shoulder and see everything. I’ve never had to plan my stops at stop lights.
  14. 2018 Mustang GT's with dealer installed Roush Supercharger starting at $39,995!

Would the warranty be honered at any Ford dealeror only at Beechmont Ford?
  15. anyone else not like the Base Cloth GT seat? and seating position

Comparing the base 1SS to base GT, the SS seats are a lot more comfortable imo. I've never owned a premium GT so not going to compare to my 2SS seats.
  16. MT Head 2 Head - 2018 Camaro SS 1LE vs 2018 Mustang GT

Dude I have owned and daily driven both and the Camaro is not "dramatically" less comfortable than the s550.
  17. 2019 Mustang or 15-18 Corvette (ROUND 1 w VIDEO)

The vette is a no brainer for a second weekend track car. Warrantied for track use as well (if left stock):headbang:
  18. anyone else not like the Base Cloth GT seat? and seating position

I couldn't stand my 15' base GT cloth seat "bump" either.:tsk:
  19. MT Head 2 Head - 2018 Camaro SS 1LE vs 2018 Mustang GT

I choose my Camaro SS because it feels better and is more fun to drive(to me), It’s capabilities were not the driving factor.
  20. MT Head 2 Head - 2018 Camaro SS 1LE vs 2018 Mustang GT

The 1LE ride isn’t absolutely punishing, especially with the magnetic ride set to touring. It’s no harder to live with than a standard manual SS. The Zl1 1LE ride is absolutely punishing. The 1LE can be had for $35k slightly used/low mile and still covered under warranty at the track.
