My contact said the following.
"I should be able to do 5 or 6 years and 60K possibly 75K." And he does $100 over cost.
Also, it depends on the level of plan you want too. The older they are, the higher coverage is only available for shorter terms.
Obviously if you are waiting till November...
Back around the time when I bought it, I was still under factory warranty (some time in early 2023). Ford bumper their offerings up from 8yr 150k as the max to 10yr 175k miles.
Now that you are well outside the b2b, you can only renew with their Used vehicle ESPs. If you do it right at the...
Interesting to hear this because I was told specifically at my dealer that only warranty repairs can be seen in oasis across dealers. Any customer pay jobs stay at the dealer level only.
Oasis only shows warranty repairs. When out of warranty, internal repairs at dealers are only kept at their level. So you would need the oasis pulled from the selling dealer to see if they paid for a trans replacement.
It will not show from a different dealer if not warranty.
Ya, that's where we differ. My 07 had almost 130k when I got rid of it in 2014. My 2015 had 70k when I got rid of it in 2022. My 2011 had 152k when I sold it in 2019. My 2020 has 92k so far.
Getting them at dealer cost helps.. but with the miles I put on, I definitely use them to my...
My 07, 2011 and 2015 Ford have all cost more in repairs then the ESP. So far my 2020 is below the cost of my ESP but this repair order that is currently open will get me close to breaking even.
I always buy them. However I do unseratand that the odds are not in one's favor.
My ESP was...
Your dealer is feeding you that line of BS because they profit more on 3rd parties.
Every Ford dealer can sell a Ford ESP.
Just buy it through Granger, they are $50 over cost.
Stripes aren't an issue with PPF. Mine has PPF, they make the kits where the stripes are done separately instead of 1 whole hood piece. Essentially the hood is 5 pieces, left hood, left stripe, center, right stripe, right hood (obviously same with the rest of the car - roof, trunk etc). It's...
Man, thought I was on the corvette forum reading the title.
How final inspection missed that I don't know. I understand how it is missed on the line. The crew that works on the right side doesn't touch the left side. So they aren't paying attention to what the otherside is doing.
Congrats on the new purchase. Well my car is back on the road for the summer. So if you ever want to take a listen, PM me. I don't get notified when you reply and don't think of checking this particular part of the forum.
I have made out two times over on every ESP I've bought.
07 f250, 11 Explorer and a 15 F350.
Have one on my 20 Explorer which I'm sure I will make out since it is a 8yr/150k coverage.
Only one I'm unsure of is the gt350. Did this for peace of mind.. 25k engine, 7k trans... AC systems that...
