Had the same issue. 25k. Camera would flicker and sometimes offer up the "fail" alert. They tried wiring, but ultimately replaced the camera. FYI, ensure they flash the new camera, otherwise the rear-view colored index and curved backup lines aren't available. Had to bring mine back. And...
Camaro 2.0T Vert impressions
Sharing my $.02 worth on my weekend test drive of 2016 Camaro 2.0T convertible. Wasn’t shopping but wanted to compare. This is of possible interest to convertible owners or lookers, certainly not a comprehensive comparison. I have driven verts across most of my...
2015 PP Auto Vert (no grill shutters) - norm is 22-23 mpg on daily 70 mi rt (stop and go). Normally see 330-340 m/tank. Of late I have been driving manual (with paddles) to keep out of boost as much as possible, although I typically lead the pack to 45/55. I have never gotten more than 24-25...
Some of you might like to know the genesis of the "2.3T" UPR badge. I still give props and thanks to OPENSESAME in 6G forums for the original design. Hope he was able to get some love from UPR. 6G is fantastic for this type of collaboration...
Perhaps someone in this thread knows.....what, exactly, is the intent of having shutters? Aero (better closed?) for gas mileage? I've seen a linkage to weather (or temperature). Open for hot, closed for cool? Can anyone address difference in gas mileage with or without? I have a convertible and...
Has anyone replaced the mirror inset in the fixture? Both of mine got scratched (might be in a coating). I have the blind spot alert in the mirror. Parts source? DIY steps? TIA.
Just throwing it out there....I've had some intermittent issues I'm pretty sure are caused by LED lights in the opener. Opener still works but sporadic. Other openers (code and wall) seem to work fine.
I too very interested in the OEM Vert Windscreen. I currently have the "Love the Drive" windscreen and it works great. I did feel sure that Ford would come up with one, particularly for the Euro Market.
DRSTARA (above) seemed to be on to a fix. His dealer evidently had a diagram and they discussed the importance of the placement of the foam piece and the orientation of the tip when inserted into the fitting on the window side. Have described in general terms the above to my dealer - but sure...
Does anyone have the procedures or diagram for how this repair is supposed to be done? I have my dealer going for another try and am trying to provide all info I can. I've heard of a diagram, a foam part, and a particular aspect that the male rod fitting goes into the female window bracket...
Self-inflicted pain is always the worst. I always park far away, or close to curb guarding one side, like many here. Smart! Put a fingertip sized scuff in one of my PP rims. Damnit! Worse than that, was vacuuming water/suds out of side mirrors and put fine scrapes in mirror on both sides...
I commute about 1600 miles per month in my premium PP EB Vert. Gas mileage in the vert PP not as good as I would like for mixed (mostly city - lots of light stops). Getting about 22-23 mpg. But fun per mile here in Pcola where I have 80% top-down potential is great.
Just back from Dealer. Had driver's side bar replaced. One of the little flanges was broken off of the plastic tip. Best I can tell the "part" is the tip with the bar. I asked and it doesn't look like the tip itself is a replaceable item. Anyone know for sure? I've cycled numerous times since...
I have one and love it. Bought it the first week (April 15) they had them on the market for the 6G. Easy in and out. Covers rear seat, vertical section flips down. Can cycle the top with the vertical section up or down, no impact. Have had wind deflector on all my verts (Audi and Porsche)...
