Are the outside screws accessible from the existing, plugged access holes on the inside of the trunk? I mean, I know they won't be centered just wondering if it's close.
May do my install tonight.
I received my Ruby Red spoiler yesterday evening. I was concerned about the paint match but it is spot on perfect. Beautiful paint. I have to say though that the "waviness" due to the fiberglass construction is slightly bothersome. Yes, it's only there if you are looking for it and in certain...
I'm a little worried about that, too. But I don't see any gap in Chris' pix. @GT Nate , can you push the thing down so there is no gap? Do you think those outer bolts will pull it down so there is no gap?
That was my intention but maybe not with this unfortunate new information. Guess I'll drill if I must but I'm going to at least try the tape first.
Sorta wishing now I'd have just bought the Steeda and had it painted...
Could you have received one for the convertible? They are different. I can't imagine what other car would have the exact trunk profile, I'd be inclined to think the spoiler you received was just poor QC?
Not in my opinion.
The thing about the Foose, to me the large cutout in the middle makes it look like something is missing.
The 350 spoiler is smaller than the S197 GT500 spoiler, if you've seen that in person.
Yes. To me it looks "just right" in person. Really strange how it looks so large in the pics.
Granted, one thing that may be a factor is the only way to see how a color-matched one would look is to look at a black 350 (which my dealer has). IMO, a black spoiler on any other color makes it...
I may be the first color-match here...
In every picture I see, the spoiler looks larger than it does in real life. Even the "real" GT350 pics look that way to me. I could only make up my mind after visiting the dealership and seeing it in person.
Man, the GT350 is sooooo tempting. Not sure I...
Well, this worries me a bit. I just assumed the "waviness" was due to the internet pictures. Are you saying you can actually see waviness in person? Do you think the finish is up to OEM standards?
Did you order color-matched? I did (just now). I've heard it's tough to match Ruby Red but they say they guarantee it will match...not sure how you dispute that but I've got the fingers crossed that it will be OK.
A nice car, I'm sure but they just look so bloated...no offense, just MO. If you are getting an automatic, to me the Charger looks so badass and four usable doors is a huge advantage. That's what I cross-shopped the most when buying my '16 GT but in the end, just love the 'Stang.
I'd say you're right. But, I kinda doubt it's necessary. Steeda probably recommended it so folks with stock spoilers (and therefore holes) would be water tight.
I've got a PP (no holes) so I think I'd prefer tape.
