  1. Mach 1 test drive impressions by GT owner

Happy you are liking your car, but the Mach 1 trim level is still a considerable step up from a pre-2021 GT Premium w/PP2 and definitely a step up from any packaged 2021 GT Premium.
  2. GT500 feels slow. How much power before it loses balance?

Or "I'm putting my car up for sell." One that most people get wrong, "I could care less..."
  3. My Bolt on 2018 Mustang GT vs 2021 Camaro ZL1

From everything I have read/understand, the CT5-V Blackwing will be on the Alpha 2, the came chassis that underpins the current Camaro. As for volume, that might have been true when the Camaro was selling 60K+ vehicles a year, but it hard to see an amortization schedule that works if they are...
  4. My Bolt on 2018 Mustang GT vs 2021 Camaro ZL1

I think it is more that GM does not want to put any more money into a product that struggles to move 30,000 units a year despite all the performance-for-the-dollar they offer. Just a cold, hard fact of the current Camaro; they just don't sell well, at all.
  5. Best/Safest Tune Recommendations...2016 GT350?

Best tune is the one that came on the car.
  6. Mach 1 test drive impressions by GT owner

I have heard this position argued for decades about upper trim levels of Mustangs. Back in the early 2000's, you were paying more for the "Cobra" name or the SVT badge. Then the 2003-2004 Mach 1 cost above the GT was "paying for the badges". Then, when the Cobra name was no longer used on...
  7. Daily driving a mustang

There is nothing wrong with daily driving a modified Mustang, as long as your modifications are well planned and executed. I daily drove my 850rwhp twin-turbo 2010 GT500 an average of 300 miles a week on pump gas for three years with no problems. As with anything you modify, there could be...
  8. Anyone else use their Mustang as a Touring vehicle?

The technically correct translation is "Grand Tourism" but grand touring is close enough. :)
  9. SHELBY COST AT DEALERSHIP

ADM's can be found in almost every state but CA ism, by far, the most egregious in how much they ask over MSRP. I ordered by 2016 GT350R in June 2015 and tool delivery of in in January 2016 for $5K over MSRP. That was when the GT350R was the pinnacle of Mustang performance and when the demand...
  10. 2019 GT350 Engine Failure @ 2170 miles

All this talk of “numbers matching” makes no sense. There is no such thing as a numbers matching GT350. I’m sorry this happened with your car, but it is a mechanical construct. Things like this happen. If the engine is being replaced, the value of the car will not be diminished, IMO.
  11. Tried to buy a bronco sport

Go up I-65 to Ford of Murfreesboro in TN. They currently have 3 on the lot (all Big Bend trim level) and will sell to you today. If you're looking for a Bronco Sport Badlands edition, here's one, FOR SALE, in Franklin, TN...
  12. Best tire for summer daily driver that will also work well for occasional track days?

I ran the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R on 6GR wheels on my 2016 GT350R and they were great. Only caveat is that, like the MP4S, I would not run them in cold/freezing conditions.
  13. '21MY Mach 1s are starting to arrive at dealers

I was simply indicating that you, by your own admission, have not shopped a Mach 1 outside of California, therefore, your ADM observations are very limited and should not be applied across the other 49 States.
  14. '21MY Mach 1s are starting to arrive at dealers

Never said that only dealers in CA did it, just that they seem to be more pervasive. I live in TN and know several dealers within 150 miles that are asking an ADM on their Mach 1's. Again, asking and getting are two different things.
  15. '21MY Mach 1s are starting to arrive at dealers

    Fixed that for you. :)
  16. [Updated] Picked up #937 Mach1: Track Day Video and Comments

Nobody is calling each other names or attacking each other, we're just debating two points of view, which I think is healthy and constructive. At the end of the day, we all enjoy our Mustangs or we wouldn't be on this site participating.
  17. '21MY Mach 1s are starting to arrive at dealers

I did not even notice you drove a BMW until just now, so my opinion regarding BMW was not meant to be directed at you. As for getting a Mach 1 with no ADM, those deals can be made all day long if you shop around and are willing to travel a little bit to take delivery. Very few of those will...
  18. '21MY Mach 1s are starting to arrive at dealers

And that is your prerogative. There are many, including myself, that feel the same way in most cases. I did, however, pay a $5K ADM when I purchased by 2016 GT350R in January of 2016. That is what I agreed to with the dealer in the summer of 2015 when I ordered the car to my specs. The...
  19. Free flow pipes

What is the point of running with no converters in place? I get that, back in the day, they could definitely impede exhaust airflow, but modern catalytic converters don't present the same restrictions. I ran the Hellion twin turbos + factory supercharger on my 2010 GT500, making over 850rwhp...
  20. [Updated] Picked up #937 Mach1: Track Day Video and Comments

To be fair, that is YOUR issue with them. Hell, people complained about the MSRP of the GT350R. There's no doubt Ford could take the same formula and engineer a Mustang that is divorced from the basic Mustang and charge accordingly but why when you can build a car that competes with what...
