I never noticed a tick. Car only has ~2100 miles. It was likely a result of the high torque. I don't see it lasting all of Hot Rod Drag Week pulling a trailer over 1000 miles and racing at each venue making over 900whp if the tick was going to lead to a bigger issue.

This car won't see 30k miles in it's lifetime. I didn't buy it for anything other than racing/fun.
