Very interesting, he seems like a bright man! I read the whole thing. Basically here is the TLDR: "The best way to figure out what viscosity of oil you need is to drive the car in the conditions you will use. Then use the oil viscosity that gives you 10 PSI per 1,000 RPM under those...

  13. aFe Sets 2015 Mustang Lap Record at Laguna Seca!

"Per Motor Trend, professional race car driver Randy Pobst" enough said... Can't really compare lap times/different cars unless the same driver drives all the cars you're comparing, or at least have two drivers that are known to match each others lap times. I've beaten a GTR at autocross...

You can tell how worn the tires are from that photo? Jesus you're a bigger phony than I am. Truth is I don't even own a mustang. It's dads car. He's a cool dad and lets me drive it sometimes. That photo is just photoshopped, can't you tell by the pixels?

I don't mean to be arrogant. I'm just trying to point out the fact that Tim doesn't have issues because of the way he drives, NOT because 0-20 is fine for track use. But hey, you guys can do whatever you want. The question was asked and I just provided first hand experience. :)
  19. 5W50 of 5W20 for the Mustang GT?

They use oil that doesn't degrade at high temperatures. I don't know what they use but they use oil that the engine was designed for and the oil doesn't degrade to the point where it doesn't meet the specifications they need. Oil we usually buy at the store wasn't designed for extreme...
