  1. 1,000 HP GT500 faster than a McLaren Senna!

Man McLaren Senna really is a another level of monster, If it takes juiced up GT500 to beat it.
  2. Parking brake stuck on

My understanding is that there is not much difference in rear brake system design. All S550 Mustangs from factory have 1 piston caliper in rear. Calipers on performance package could be slightly bigger to accommodate vented disc, but overall, by work logic they are same. Difference mainly...
  3. Parking brake stuck on

Wait, what... Shoe and drum, on 2016 Ecoboost...trolling? :D
  4. Parking brake stuck on

Had same problem. I just finished disassembling driver side caliper. Took whole piston out. Apparently there was dirt inside the caliper, behind the piston, that was seizing the spring inside. Once I cleaned it with brake cleaner, the spring started moving and now everything works as it should...
  5. Upgrading the sound system with stock DSP/AMP

@Evolvd @StangTime Yes you correct. As long as you don't remove the connector your are not going to break network. Because there is 2 wires going into 1 pin and that keeps network completed even tho it is no longer connected to amp. If you cut of the connector and don't connect two green can bus...
  6. Upgrading the sound system with stock DSP/AMP

How do you even remove factory amp from 9-speaker system. I just checked black connector schema and you have 2 can bus wires in there. By logic those wires need to be connected to some kind of device or they break the network and something (infotainment, ac, gauges or something) in car should...
  7. Where to install front crossovers with stock wiring?

I am looking at my 2016 mustang, with shaker system (without trunk subwoofer) and my understanding is that both bottom door speakers are not on crossovers with pillar tweeters. Wiring diagram also shows that there is no splice. Pillar tweeters are crossover with door small speakers/tweeters. So...
  8. Ecoboost filter directly on turbo?

Well, didn't Chelsea DeNofa do that when he built foxbody drift car with 2.3l Ecoboost engine. Then theoretically it should be possible.
  9. Has anyone removed or replaced their dome light assembly?

Plenty of You videos showing lowering but none of them showing how to actually remove remove it. If your light socket or switch is faulty, lowering doesn't help much. You have to replace whole assembly (or the wires) and to do that you need to disconnect whole assembly from harness, what is...
  10. Has anyone removed or replaced their dome light assembly?

I am not talking about replacing the bulbs or just plastic case. I am talking about whole assembly. My question is how did you disconnect the harness? The connector is under the headliner. Can you just pull it out or you have to remove headliner?
  11. FUll Race FMIC TiAL BOV installed

Why black? Black is rated 8-11in/Hg. Ecoboost is generating ~20in/Hg in idle, means shouldn't it be Yellow or Plain.
  12. Turn off footwell lights when doors closed/driving

Did anyone actually even read what I wrote? From dash menu you can turn them off and adjust brightness, but I didn't ask that.
  13. Turn off footwell lights when doors closed/driving

Man it is so annoying to have footwell lights on when driving. Your footwell reflection is on side window. Especially bad it is when you have white footwear. I find no reason to have footwell always on, especially while driving. So I was wondering is it possible config footwell lights only work...
  14. Mustang S550 Headlights EU (Washers, Xenon, adjustment etc)

My problem was that I had US headlights. It has D3S marking on lens and by law I am not allowed to put D8S inside, because then the inside system will not match what is written on lens and I can't use D3S because they are too strong. But yes, if you have already EU headlights that has D8S...
  15. Mustang S550 Headlights EU (Washers, Xenon, adjustment etc)

That is correct. We figured that out at one point. Bought D8S ballasts, wirings and bulbs. But the problem then was that lights have D3S markings on lens and you are not allowed to to fit D8S system into D3S lights. So if we wanted to use EU version headlights we would had to replace whole...
  16. Replacing D3S for D8S, different sockets?

I bought ballasts, bulbs, wires, but never got lights correctly working. Car electrician told me that car needs reprogramming so that it understands that it has now weaker lights and that is something that can't be done with 50$ OBD cable. Needs dealer level cable and software. So we swapped...
  17. Why did you buy an automatic? (and why I ordered a 6spd)

I have this logic. If I drive car everyday then I take Automatic, but if I drive car rarely (weekends etc) then I prefer manual.
  18. Downgraded my D3S lights to D8S. Lights now wont turn off. Any ideas why?

Yeah I have US spec. Even if I had that leveler it wouldn't help much because the leveler needs to be automatic/self leveling (Not sure what is correct term).
  19. Downgraded my D3S lights to D8S. Lights now wont turn off. Any ideas why?

So that I can register car to my name. In some EU countries you can't have 35w lights that put out 3200 lm without washers and levelers. D8S 25w lights will put out exactly 2000lm what is the max lm you can have without washers and levelers.
  20. Downgraded my D3S lights to D8S. Lights now wont turn off. Any ideas why?

I talked with person who knows more about car electric circuits and he thinks the problem is that new ballast aren't recognized by car and requires reprogramming. And that is not something you can do with some $70 Obd2 cable and Forscan.
