The advanced spray does not do that. It's not easy to tell
  2. Post Your Bead Porn

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I let it cure completely. Just didn't notice. I got 90% of the car done perfectly but screwed up 10% (typical for my life) I'm going to have to polish it off. The difficult part of the coating is the you have to get the timing right. Too short and it...

Had a mixed experience with Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic spray coating. It's petty darn easy to apply and the results are great but I did struggle with knowing how long to let it cure before wiping it off. I ended up leaving some residue on one area of the car. I guess you call it a high...
  4. Track Decals on car - To do or not to do, that is the question

I like track stickers. When I see a car with track stickers (when not at a track) it always catches my eye and makes me think much more of the owner :)
  5. Mid-Engine Mustang to Debut

That picture certainly doesn't look mid engine and it certainly looks to be based on the same platform. Guessing that's not what's coming out. No what that is though? A mid engine mustang to compete with the C8 vette would be awesome
  6. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

That's awesome. Those pads were recommended to me on my previous car (not a mustang) and I loved them. Tracked them hard with no issues. Thanks!
  7. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

    Appreciate the info, thanks!
  8. Forced Induction for Road Course

Again, I appreciate the responses. Thanks
  9. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Did you replace with the factory pads? I'm getting ready to start tracking mine. If you went with stock pads I'm assume you were happy with them on track? Thx
  10. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Adams has a lot of products.... they have a ceramic coating that comes in a small glass bottle like all the other. But then they have 2 different graphene ceramic sprays. I got the "advanced" one. You spray it on to an applicator pad and then wipe it on the car. Let it sit 2 to 4 minutes (2...
  11. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Adams Advanced Graphene Ceramic spray. Easy to apply and buff off but difficult to tell how long to let it sit before buffing it off. Looks great though
  12. Do I really need the Performance Package?

Right. With a cage though! Awesome, btw. I'm sure it's super fun to track it top down!
  13. Forced Induction for Road Course

Thanks everyone for the responses. Appreciate it
  14. Forced Induction for Road Course

Got a question for those of you with forced induction experience. I just bought a Mach 1 that I'm going to do a lot of track days with. I have access to a road course that runs 30 minute sessions. I bought the Mach 1 because it's the right mustang for the track. It's got the extra cooling...
  15. Do I really need the Performance Package?

Without a roll cage? I've never seen a track that allows convertibles without rollover protection. But obviously every track is different. Regardless, from the original post, it's not sounding like he's going to be doing some hard core track work and thus I stand by my position. He doesn't...
  16. Do I really need the Performance Package?

Can't track a convertible, don't need the perf pack. Simple as that
  17. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Install is easy. And I'm not a mechanic at all. The only thing was the screws were too long. Removing the factory spoiler was cake. The American muscle website has an install video. It was spot on. The screws are metric btw. I got shorter ones at Ace hardware
  18. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

This is the $140 spoiler (MP concepts) Quality was excellent for the price. It's a compromise between the tiny factory (non HP) spoiler and the monster HP spoiler. Im happy with it
  19. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Installed the GT350 Track Pack knock off spoiler. The look and quality of the spoiler itself were great however the mounting hardware wasn't. The screws were too long but a quick trip to Ace fixed that.
  20. I think the 21-23 Mach 1 might just be the best bang-for-your-buck specialty Mustang we’re likely to ever see from Ford again

The Mach 1 is built for the track, period. If you don't ever take the Mach 1 on a road course, it probably wasn't worth the price. The Mach 1 is built to withstand the heat and abuse of track days. If all you do is cars and coffee and roll around the streets, a GT is a better value, no...
