  1. Front Bra

I've used painter's tape when driving my F350 and Mustang home from the dealer, before PPF install. I covered the nose and around the wheel openings and rockers, and especially behind the doors on the S550 where the "widebody" rear fenders flare out. I like the light green painters tape (can't...
  2. The M6G Nostalgic “I remember ...” thread

Makes me think of those big fat pencils we had in first grade. Had to turn the "wheel" to the biggest hole to sharpen those....
  3. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

And when you're not playing Jenga, you've got a bunch of cribbing for some homemade jackstands....YMMV.

Someone stole the phone, therefore no gum and graffiti...?

Yesss! My Dad had the Chevrolet version of this.... same color and woodgrain. 1973 Kingswood Estate. My brother and I thought it was pretty trick that the back window rolled up inside the headliner and the tailgate rolled down into the floor, just by turning the key.
  6. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Got a 19" spare tire and wheel off a Hyundai Equus (bought online through LKQ). Bolt pattern is the same as the Mustang and the wheel clears the Brembo brakes just fine. Had to drill out the center of the wheel with a 2 7/8" hole saw and clean it up with my roto-zip to make it fit on the hub...
  7. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Took it off the battery tender and got my spare tire all fitted.
  8. Your Other Hobbies

Good to hear that you're getting healed back up and looking forward to your hobbies! Pulling a bow would put a tremendous amount of pressure on your chest for sure. Best wishes on 100% recovery!
  9. Your Other Hobbies

Your hobbies would fit in good at the tiny house... A lot of sage rat shooting on the ranches around there. Deer and elk around there too, and never a shortage of things to take pictures of. Did you have shoulder surgery?
  10. Your Other Hobbies

Thanks Cruizer! I'm trying to get out there once a month for at least 3 days if not a week. I made up some old looking barn tin panels a few weeks ago for some sliding doors.
  11. The M6G Nostalgic “I remember ...” thread

Remember the old days when there was a TV channel totally dedicated 24/7 to all things automotive...?

I like the look of the Mustang shark fin compared to the Aston Martin version....

Same here... 6 speed manual in Central Oregon I always burn non-ethanol premium 91-93 octane.
  16. Rock Guards

Wish I had known....I would have bought Rockblox just for the extra 10HP! 😁
  17. Rock Guards

They sure throw the rocks! I had PPF installed on the quarter panels from the "shoulder" down and from the door to the centerline of the wheel. After 8300 miles, the PPF is definitely showing some rock damage. Just glad it's not the paint getting damaged. I've had them come inside the car when...
  18. Rock Guards

Not trying to derail the thread, but in regards to what @BigBeed said about the PP2 throwing rocks....wouldn't hurt to put some protective film on the front of those quarter panels, from the rear edge of the door to at least the centerline of the wheel.
  19. Rock Guards

I bought these SpeedForm no-drill splash guards for my PP2. They stick out a little more than some others, but work good on the PP2. I bought an extra set in case I lost one or two on the road, but after 8300 miles that hasn't been an issue. Expensive ($150) but worth it IMO.
