The only thing I don’t like about the Mustang factory opener is that it doesn’t have much range compared to the door opener clicker or the factory units in our Toyotas.

When scheduling quiet start the dashboard display leads me to believe I can schedule it to the minute. But the only number that changes is the hour. So I have to pick 7 or 8 but can’t pick 7:15 or 7:30. Is this a problem with my car or is this just how it works?

Please note the word “may” in my post. My comments were speculation on my part that the voodoo engine is clearanced differently than the coyote.

The voodoo engine in the GT350 may have larger clearances for the heavier oil an higher revs. That’s what I did when building high performance engines back in the old days.

Not everyone has a bad MT82. The majority of them are just fine. You need to drive it to be sure. The MT82 in my 2012 was very good and the A10 in my 2019 is nothing short of perfect. I’ve been really happy with both.

I’ve really been enjoying the 2019 GT I ordered with the A10. I got the Premium with PP1, magneride and active valve exhaust. I don’t ever see a need to mod this one as it’s darn good the way it is. The A10 really does it for me! And all of the Mustangs I’ve owned since the late 60’s were manuals.

Yeah, OEM is the way to go. State Farm refused to pay for OEM on my Tundra. The glass shop had to order in 4 aftermarket windshields before he got one that didn’t have some sort of a defect. Most all aftermarket are imported junk IMO.

Just checked my 2019 GT and the letters do not light up nor is there an indicator to show what gear you are in except in the center of the dash.

On my 12 GT I would crank the engine for several seconds to finish filling the oil filter (prefilled as much as possible prior to install) by flooring the gas pedal and cranking. It would not start doing this. Is this same approach to cranking without starting possible on the 18-19 GT also?

My sales guy, who knew far less about the product he sells than I do, didn’t tell me this either. It a pain to have to reset everything every time you start the car. I wonder if it’s possible to do a software update to provide this functionality to 400A owners?

Renting or buying your home? If renting I would save the new found money to put a nice down payment on a house. Your Mustang is only a year old and a very nice car. Enjoy it!

Is it just the bumper or are body panels involved? That estimate sounds really high. Glad you’re OK though.

Having a blower doesn’t automatically void your extended warranty entirely. A failure which is proven to be caused by the blower won’t be covered by your extended warranty. You’re still covered for other items included in the warranty.

The K desiginates the 2019 model year. Everyone with any form of a 2019 Mustang has a K in their VIN. 2018’s have a J.

It’s a specialty design wheel and tire that is almost identical diameter as the factory tire (so no harm to the limited slip or torsen diff) yet much narrower than the factory wheels so it will fit in the trunk wheel well without raising the trunk floor. They sell the wheel and tire for $399...

Google “Mustang spare automotive authority” and you will see the best solution for a Brembo brake spare tire I’ve seen yet. I just bought one and I’m really happy with it. Although it’s pricey with shipping.
