  1. Self alignment on my Bullitt was an epic failure

Not bad for a self alignment, your numbers side to side were pretty close. I tried the string method but it doesn’t work very well since the front and rear track widths are different. I have yet to find a tech that is as OCD as me when doing alignments. I wish I had access to an alignment...
  2. BLACK S550 MUSTANG Thread

Bump because we can not slip to page 2, others may start believing that Shadow Black is not the best color! 😜
  3. Odometer readings on new cars

My ā€˜19 Bullitt had 8 when I bought it. It was in the showroom, the dealership had me test drive a different Bullitt since they couldn’t get it out at the time.
  4. Toyota GR86 Anyone?

I think it’s a cool car, I like the digital dash more than Ford’s version. I think it needs more power but I feel that way about every car :sun:
  5. Gas Prices [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

This was in Seattle last week, now I know why there were so many hybrids and Tesla’s lolz
  6. Gen 3 short block crimešŸ‘€

A gen 3 shortblock will have a higher compression ratio than a gen 2. This needs to be accounted for in the tune. Also without direct injection there is reduced resistance to knock. Try less ignition timing or higher octane fuel.
  7. Anyone else wanna see a return of boss 302?

I agree 100%, everything doesn’t need to be yacht sized. Unfortunately that is what attracts vehicle buyers now.
  8. Anyone else wanna see a return of boss 302?

Interesting viewpoint, why don’t you want less weight?
  9. Anyone else wanna see a return of boss 302?

If they do make a Boss in the S550 platform it should have what this chassis desperately needs, significant weight reduction. We have power, RPM, IRS, etc; the right elements are present but the 3800+lbs is ridiculous for a performance car. A lightweight Boss (3000-3200 lbs) with at least 500hp...
  10. Creak and squeak in rear end.

I would inspect the wheel bearing. If you can get someone to help, try having them shake the wheel like you did in the video. While they are doing that, inspect for where the noise is coming from. It definitely sounds like something is loose or has excessive play.
  11. Anybody ever seen a black bullitt

+1 for the Black Bullitt sightings
  12. Do you eat inside your mustang?!

While I do eat in my car, I cringe whenever anything spills. I do thoroughly clean my car regularly so it doesn’t linger. My problem is that good smells like interior detailer sprays last for less than a day while bad smells like food (with no spills) stay around for like a week.
  13. is it possible to put an A10 in a BULLITT?

You could swap in a 6R80 or 10R80 and use a stand alone controller like the ones on this website: https://www.usshift.com/silverbullet.shtml You would still need to figure something out with the stock gear position sensor though. Alternatively you could buy a Mach 1 engine/trans harness...
  14. Let's see some black wheels with polished lip

    Stock Bullitt wheels
  15. BLACK S550 MUSTANG Thread

    Black TTT again!
  16. Solid Black wheels will fade away!

I agree with the OP 100%. IMO black wheels became a thing when people started painting their base wheels in black to hide them. Then it became a ā€œtrendā€ and it’s everywhere. Ironically, my Bullitt has black wheels
  17. Is this a real Bullitt??

A true parts bin car 🤣
  18. 10000 mile alignment

Here’s what my alignment looked like after 11K and the dealership replaced both front strut mounts.
