I'd put some money on it being PBD... my car idled like a cammed ls engine.
After all my neighbors felt bad for me trying to start my car multiple times daily at 4 am they all pooled money together to get me a new tune...... Just kidding it popped a ringland after being ignored by them for 4...
it seems most of the turbo kits present these problems and its most likely why there is a very small amount of single kits going around.
After the year long saga with my setup i am happy with it but if i were looking right now. The BLfabrications kit that Sai li is working on looks really good...
You can’t without an aftermarket sensor installed.
The only people I see logging fuel pressure on 15/17 cars have n gauges and the converter box from a normal pressure sensor.
The reason there isn’t a single turbo setup is our cars are limited on exhaust options with a single. Most kits just go out the bumper. Or just limited where to put everything honestly. A tubular subframe would help tremendously.
I bought an s197 on3 kit last year and have since changed...
It’s not the steering rack as much as the support in front of it.
This started as a on3 single kit. Which I honestly think it would of fit without our s550 cross brace in front of the steering rack.
I don’t know too much about these headers so they may not fit. I do know that the cpr kit on...
So tell me the difference in the s550 coyote engine and the s550 that would stop this from working.
You can use an s197 k member on an s550. The engines are physically the same. The only difference is in front of the steering rack.
These aren’t headers as much as log manifolds.
But the only thing that really changed from s197 to s550 in these areas is the brace in front of the steering rack.
Or just what I’ve seen in my experience fitting and modifying this 11/14 kit to my 15
From what I’ve learned the base circle is totally different and the cams won’t swap.
Also the cam sensor location kinda kills that idea also. It was my first idea lol.
Gt350 are over priced and not worth the hassle themselves.
Obviously getting gen 2 heads would be the easiest solution. That’s not a hard thought to come up with here.
I made the thread to discuss this option not just say. Buy other stuff lol.
It all depends on how you degree the cams.
I could in theory really hurt the spool for higher hp.
But I could also time the cams to help will spool sacrificing high end power.
I could also run aftermarket camshafts.
