That's a tough decision to have to make. Awesome, but tough. I'd go with the TRX if you can find one and you have the cabbage to swing it. My Raptor is wore out and I've had a hard on for that truck for over a year.
Looking forward to the rest of this thread HB! This forum is fortunate to have had you as a contributor all these years. Blazing FPC trails so the rest of us can have Voodoo insight. 🏁🇨🇱🏁
You're right about the way that most dealers operate. I worked at a Toyota and a Ford dealership just long enough to learn this. It's bottom line or no line. And I mean every single dime.
My dad moved to San Antonio to work for USAA when they were just starting to go big time. They were one of the best ins. companies at one time, but no more. I will definitely check with progressive, damn that's a huge difference. I need to shop my home owners ins. as well. Thanks for the tip.

Tom, I agree 100%. My father was their tax director for 30 years, may he RIP. They have raised my rates to the moon and I am shopping rates as we speak.
Hey Jon, I just skimmed through your thread. I was impressed with the end result and your initiative. I would gladly leave you my car for a week, but like Neal, the distance between us is rather prohibitive. Just as a reminder for any owners still using the original filter (FL2069ST), you can...
OP, just curious. Have you had any major issues with your car? I have a 2016 with far fewer miles (just under 20K), and uses zero oil between regular changes. 73,500 is the most I've heard of on a Voodoo.
90% of service writers suggest additional repairs or maintenance whether it's needed or not. The owner and service manager demand it or else. My wife was told she needed a transmission fluid conditioner in her hybrid. It has a CVT.
