Once you go FI, it’s hard to drive - or even be a passenger in a N/A stang. Doing it right & building a reliable set-up with supporting mods for a blower is prob more important than the blower itself.
Do It!
I’m not sure the risk of going down the inevitable water spot path would be worth trying this concept out. Water spots are like kryptonite. Water seems to creep out of all the vent crevasses & hides behind the mirrors. CRs are fantastic, but I think your asking for trouble not drying properly...
What you didn’t account for with FI is the look on the dude wearing a vineyard vines polo with the collar popped in his Porsche XYZ when you blow his doors off.
No - same for Flex, E85R different story. I went down the “tune” path trying to convince myself it was worth it. Just save for a blower or upgraded suspension - maybe both. #seatofthepantsdyno is BS!
*Find someone in your area that has any 93 tune - get a demo. Don’t confuse exhaust notes with...
Nice set-up, if you have Kranzle on the brain - get one on order, not sure the current status on availability but for awhile there was a lengthy back-order turn time (1122/1322)
*I use the Active all the time with the Obsessed Garage/Wand & beefed up hoses waiting for it to fail… this unit is...
Yes, that’s the one - it’s all the same right? Turtle wax, GTechniq, Kamikaze… That’s what the sales guy at Pete’s detail said - it was a Pro detailer ceramic coating with 9H properties. He said you just spray it on & it will look like it just rolled out of one them fancy detailers like Esoteric...
I applied turtle wax “Pro” graphene coating to my 71 Pinto last night, no polish or decon prep, not one single high spot - perfect leveling. I did it in the Wendy’s parking lot under the lights while enjoying a junior bacon cheeseburger on the hood - amped up for cars n coffee this weekend.
Kranzle is in a different league, once you purchase one it will all make sense why Kranzle is referenced in this forum, and other resources with high accolades. I’ve owned the majority of brands - the Kranzle pump sound is really drowned out by the water blasting off whatever it’s pointed at...
Just to be clear are you saying the pollen dried in the coating? Slightly confused, what’s the point in washing it if it’s crusted up, I’d polish it off - find a garage or bay, do over. If there’s that much junk cooked in the coating.
*Unfortunately, after about 15 months you will find out the...
Dealers are front loading $$$ with the EV forecast, big ticket fixes will be few & far between in a few years-think about the numbers on oil changes, and coolant “flush” services that will be non-existent in a few years. Try dating an oil filter or cabin air filter with a permanent marker...
That’s pretty much the standard today, think of ordering as a “reserve your spot” backordered items is just how it goes now. Order it, wait for it, no biggy. I forget about half of the parts I order, it’s like Christmas when it shows up on my porch, minus explaining to my wife why there’s...
The Alcantara is pretty sweet, still not sure about the weighted knob. Crossing over from the 350 knob it’s different, I don’t really use the knob - more of a flicker if that makes sense. Sonax Alcantara cleaner works well!
Installed the Raceseng Stratos & R-Lock today, Quality machine work! I previously had a billet R-lockout/350 shift knob which has been solid (anything better than the plastic R-Lockout) the weighted knob ergo is interesting-Heading to TN/NC on a trip will report back on the Shift set-up.
