CUL8R,
I'd love to hear from the Forced Induction experts on this question myself. It is just my opinion that the 3.73's would be better with the centrifugal's due to spinning them up faster. Some of these guys have FAR more experience in the kits and these cars than I do.
I know that in the...
Thank you @beefcake!
I'm sorry if you have to go through this over and over again with new people. I did a search and really didn't find much of anything on the FI Kits and the manual transmission.
I completely understand everyone offering their solution as the one everyone else should take...
AZ89GT,
Nice job getting a 9.xx!!!
Sounds like the changes Circle D performed on the original convertor worked well!
Can you share your numbers with the other 2 convertors?
Enjoy!!!

19BULLITTwhipple,
Thank you so much for helping get this on track, you have highlighted exactly what I'm looking for! This car will never see north of 1200RWHP!

John (CUL8R),
Thank you for this post, certainly good information that I too would appreciate!
I really want to keep my 3.73's, and that's part of why I was thinking that the Turbo's and PD Blowers might be a bit much for the manual and steep gears. I think that the 3.73's would actually help...
JayMan33,
Please pardon my ignorance, but is the OPG and Crank Support something that can be installed at home with just hand tools? I would imagine they would be done in concert with any of these kit installs? (While you have most things apart?)
Thanks!
- Jerry
JayMan33,
Thanks for the great writeup and sharing your experience!
I have to apologize to you (as I did with Livernois) for leaving you off of my Vendor Thank You post!
I'm new here and still trying to figure out who sells what products and who supports what.
I know that you said that you...
Javier_perez1,
How much boost are you currently running?
Do you have a tune on your car now?
I would think that you could be at your 650rwhp mark with what @PC_GUARD has mentioned in the post above.
Good Luck!
- Jerry
Brad1810r80,
That's a good point that I haven't even taken into account yet!
Thanks for bringing that up!
Lots of great info from everyone on this site, I really appreciate the input!

Boosted50Silva,
Thanks for responding!
Did you get the blowoff valve on your setup? (Like in the linked kit)
If so, where is it installed?
Did you have to have it welded, or did it come pre-assembled/setup to bolt or clamp on?
Thanks again!
- Jerry
19BULLITTwhipple,
Thanks for sharing that video!
That stretch of road looks very familiar to me, although I don't know if that should be mentioned! LOL
Scary fast car and I can't help but wonder if there isn't a better time (less traffic) to perform pulls like that?
That car FLIES, that's for...
19BULLITTwhipple,
Thanks for the reply and for sharing your reasons for going to a Turbo kit!
Great points about the belt/pulley changes as well as the 'extras' required to get the most out of Blower setups!
- Jerry
Ptrug,
I didn't realize that locking out the IMRC's was required!
I already reviewed the installation instructions on the ESS Tuning site, and they looked very clear and easy to follow.
Is the IMRC lockout a requirement of the kit, or was it requested by your tuner?
Do you know if all of the...
