I have a set of oil lines that are date coded 09/06/16.
Since they were made after the recall I'm wondering if they are OK to use?
Does anyone have an answer?
I ordered the cooler lines in January.
They are dated 9/6/2016 and are the exact part number as in the recall.
Has anyone else looked at the date code on their replacement hoses?
I've been using a Mity-Vac for years.
I use the brake bleeder attachment from them also.
Makes for an absolutely clean job start to finish.
It even pulls all of the fluid from inside the bleeder screw.
I always start by pulling all of the fluid I can get out of the master cylinder and refill...
I got my new oil lines a few weeks ago.
They were produced on 9/6/16 and I'll install them at the next oil change.
I don't expect you will lose much more than a quart of oil.
Got my notice Saturday.
I have the part number for the lines, but I don't know if they are the original or the replacement.
For 170.00 plus shipping I'll probably take a chance.
I really can't imagine they would sell the ones that are a problem.
The P/N is:FR3Z-6B850-B
Oil film
Has anyone noticed an oil film on the differential around the axles?
I was taking a close look at mine yesterday and noticed it.
Track pack 3100 miles.I wiped it off and will see how long it takes to return.
I installed mine at 580 miles, both sides Ford Racing separators.
I changed oil Monday at 2680 miles, spirited but no track time.
PS had 3/8" DS dry.
They definitely work.
wheels
I sent mine back too.
I have the tire for the spare but I still need a wheel solution.
The AM wheel that does fit is no longer available.
I'm going to keep searching.
