Yeah it's a definite red flag to me. And even more so since the verts being shipped have all been produced in December as near as I can tell. I believe I saw one in transit that was built just last week and mine still sits well over a month later???
The way I look at is that my wife really wanted it on our vert and I am glad that she likes the Mustangs well enough to even care, so what the heck? I do have to say that it seems a bit crazy to get both the 50th and PP unless cost is not an issue
Mine just recently came up on cotus when I tried the website with a "qa" in it. Mine was built back on November 20 and still no info on how long or what the situation is.
Looks nice in white. I considered white with red interior. These are just beautiful cars and I bet they are going to look good no matter what color we have on the way.
I have one of the early convertibles. All of the early ones seem to be sitting at this time. I wonder if there have been more deliveries besides Rising Force?
So does this color trim just slip into the gap between panels so it could be changed back to stock appearance anytime? For me personally, I'm feeling the dash but not so much the doors.
I didn't mind giving a $500 deposit. We didn't even discuss whether it was refundable but then again I am dealing with a pleasant and low pressure dealership so I really wasn't worried. I have found over the years that the dealerships who are always squeezing you for money are almost always...
I am in that 11/20 club with you. At one time back around Thanksgiving, Rachel did tell me that my car had been moved but not far at all. I surmised that it may have just moved to some holding lot. As of early this week, she tells me that it still hasn't begun it's trip to me. I am hoping...
My car was built on the 20th and right before Thanksgiving Rachel told me that it had left the factory but hadn't gone far at all at that point with an estimated delivery date of 12/4.
No sign of my car yet
I "get" the storage thing. Most of my Mustang friends store from now until April or so and I store my Shelby GT. We have been having Mustangs as daily drivers since 2005 and have come to like it. Twe or three bags of sand in the trunk has worked real well in Ohio. But I don't plan on taking...
I ain't scared lol. Our 2005 was an early convertible and no issues with it for the 90K miles we drove it. I will be driving it some in the rain since I am not planning on making it a garage queen. Car washes not so much...there's not many of them that don't kinda creep me out going through...
Mine has left the plant and is on the way!!! Current EDD is 12/4 but we shall see. I am on vacation and won't be able to pick it up until the 8th so I doubt that I will be first. I am fantasizing about it coming tomorrow and getting it before I leave town with the extra $500 off lol
