Unmetered air can cause all sorts of issues. Misfires probably from too much fuel or timing trying to compensate for the air it's getting.

Mine failed after about a month and DD wouldn't do anything about it, they told me to go back to the retailer. Kinda not impressed, going to get something different next. Update: DD has replaced my sidemarkers now :thumbsup::thumbsup:
