Cool, I prefer more meat and I won't be dropping that much. Starting to strongly consider a square setup so I can rotate and avoid tramlining as much as possible.
Billiard ball style or Delrin knobs will stay cool in summer. Billiard ball and delrin are different in feel though, the billiard ball styles are nice and heavy dense plastic whereas delrin is usually lighter and doesn't feel as good shifting unless it's weighted.

Generally the hub has to come off, at least it's usually far easier if you do. Taking the hub off isn't that big of a deal usually, the big thing is just making sure you remember where the castle nut was pinned at so that it's not too loose or too tight.

Solo Mach XV. One of the cheapest full systems around and super well made, and absolutely ZERO DRONE whatsoever. It's also tuneable in case your particular build does have drone for whatever reason, you can tune the drone right out.
Mine failed after about a month and DD wouldn't do anything about it, they told me to go back to the retailer. Kinda not impressed, going to get something different next.
