I know from personal experience that it's hard to be patient! I went through the whole car is sitting somewhere for weeks with no apparent explanation thing with mine a couple of months ago. There was a lot of conjecture about leaky convertible tops, panel fitment issues, and the like, but I...
Did everyone else get a glovebox key? I did not get one but I probably wouldn't use that either. Loving the auto locking console, though. Great place to stow the radar detector when you park with the top down.
Does anyone else have a creaking noise coming from the windshield header area? I'm sure that it's just the latch adjustment. Seems to only happen in warmer climates but is rather annoying.
Just got home from a 2800 mile road trip last night to the South where we could put the top down. Car is a pleasure to drive either top up or down. Very comfortable for a long drive. We averaged 23 mpg for the whole trip with little noticeable difference between regular and 93 octane in...
This is the greatest thread. Love that it has the word "daft" in it. Nothing wrong with keeping them and it sounds like you really might which I find fascinating. While my Shelby GT may end up being a keeper, I'm pretty sure that, as much as I love it, my 2015 will not be with me anymore in 4...
Wow, I drove mine home around 5 pm on New Year's Eve after giving 2 checks for around 29K. I even asked them to hold the one for 14K until January 3rd to make sure it was properly funded! I thought all of the dealer's were pretty casual about this type of thing.
Sorry to hear of your troubles. You are the victim of one of those old sleazy style dealer's who should be avoided like the plague. Extended negotiations over paint protection (wax) was the first clue you should consider leaving.
Happy for you man! I had a similar thrill when I stopped at my dealer to pick up the Fusion and there was mine fresh of the truck. Such an incredible feeling...you know it's yours but can hardly believe it!
We have lots of Competition Orange 401 Manual 50th Package convertibles with navigation in Canton, OH! My car arrived in town on a car hauler with 3 identical Mustangs. Wish I could have seen all of them together!! My usual dealer went ahead and ordered it thinking I would come back to them...
Not to change the subject, lol, but just want to send out a big THANK YOU to the genius that found this EAA offer! I just spoke with my guy at the dealership and they were able to make it work and I have a check on the way!
My wife and I have been driving Mustang's in the winter for about 10 years now in Northeastern Ohio so I am speaking from experience and will try to answer your specific question....sand good, a bag near each rear wheel for normal snow, if it gets too snowy put your 3rd or even 4th bag in. Take...
I do not really dislike my spoiler. After my car went into production I felt like I had screwed up and should have done a delete but it was too late. Plus I'm not even sure it's possible to do the delete with the 50th. But now that it's home, the spoiler doesn't look so bad to me.
Where's the love for Competition Orange? Nothing screams Mustang more and historically orange is brought out on an infrequent basis for only a year at a time.
I haven't seen this mentioned...maybe it's just me. When you turn the engine off and the seat moves all the way back, it's really easy to get out but I can barely reach the floor with the clutch to start it when I get back in. And I'm not very short!
