As mentioned above I have been working and playing around with the 2018+ intake airbox and tube. I'm hoping there is some potential here for gains and a poor mans PP2! I like the idea of a closed box, and welcome the performance it provides t0 the manner I use my car (road circuit and autox...
I finally was able to get a 2018+ intake!!! It may take some time for the prices to come down and get closer to what a used one sells for on ebay for a 2015-2017.
but so far things look promising. I plan to do a dyno comparison (@ some point) to see if there are any real gains, but i like...
This has my wheels turning!!! I'm on another crazy hunt on some other cross reference parts, and I'm thinking of doing my own power packs?? Just need to do some dyno runs to confirm gains.
Before I found my results I joked about buying all of them I could find and marking them up!!! LOL But..... I'm not that kind of person, which is why I will always be poor.
I do both. For street driving i keep them in loop, and for track use I vent them. I used their stage 3 cans, just ordered two and attached one to each side. Works great!!! Once important thing I did learn that if you vent to atmosphere you need a open PCV valve on the passenger side. You can...
I had this issue like crazy, and I even tired the Watson can but still had oil blow by problems. I went with UPR catch cans on both sides and put a straight through PCV valve on the passenger side and I no longer have any issues!
So far I'm happy. Still waiting on stage 2 of my testing before I can say weather i'll keep it or not. If I was gong to switch I would go with a 18' mani.
I have a tune with the Mani on my car. But would need a dyno tune to get the most out of it and fix some of the curve. Still hoping to improve things with porting the mani and adding headers.
