Yeah I thought about buying an 05-09 pillar pod from speed of sound and removing the pods then attaching them to my pillar. When they told me about the air bag issue I figured maybe I shouldn't do it. Wouldn't want to have an accident and get your face ripped off or anything. Lol

DSS - FDSH25A states just under 18lbs for the shaft itself. Unsure if it includes the adapters. Shaftmasters aluminum manual shaft states 23lbs with adapters. Kelly with BMR could answer that question. He runs a shaftmasters manual shaft, or you could read his thread on what things weigh...

Kelly, I weighed the shaft on my digital scales which have always been accurate for postage situations. Shaft with both flanges as pictured weighed in at 16lbs 9 ounces. Shaft is a work of art. Nice workmanship to go with the easy transaction, fast shipping and packaging.

No problem when I get home this evening I will put it on the digital scales

I believe Dynotech only offers a manual trans driveshaft. I like Dynotech as I have one in my 07 and have had no issues with it

Nice to hear both of you have had no issues with vibrations going 140mph or better as I intend to operate at those speeds. Looks like the shaftmasters driveshaft will be a good choice. Thanks for the input
