Nope, emergency brake uses separate pads that press on a completely separate braking surface. Does not and can not use the hydraulic system, pads or brake surface for the normal brakes, mandated by federal law, NTSB, and others around the world.
My 17 GT PP MT82 did this a couple times, ended up being that I didn’t apply the clutch fast enough when coming to a stop.....no jerking or anything just shut off. Hasn’t happened since.

Lol! I have a 19, there’s enough room in the nose for several coolers, even with a giant IC. Another thing to note is that this style of oil cooler/warmer has been used by Ford since the early 80’s, hell I use one from a 18 eco escape on my 86 SVO.
