Okay, I have a question, hear me out.
In this image:
The "exhaust manifold" damn near looks like short tube headers to me compared to a traditional log manifold...so wouldn't it be beneficial/possible to just hack the cats off and have a "full exhaust?"
Maybe I am just dumb, but...
Question for Tim, or anyone else I guess.
I ordered my car, retail, on Aug 23rd. Only thing I signed was a slip that said "I want the following options" before they put in the order. They said the price determination comes when the vehicle is delivered.
Now I have joined MCA and received...
I was thinking that was a high price...but I spent $185 on the AL tank in my Hummer.
Oh well, the jelly fish doesn't bother me for now, if there was a hidden option I may opt for that some day.
When I was just thinking about the 2015 GT I went to the dealer and spoke with an awesome saleswoman for a while. I hadn't even placed an order and, when I was leaving, she said "you wanna test drive that '14? It's not the same but you've never had any seat time in a Mustang."
I ask "is it a...
What CarThrottle are you looking at? Sure the "front page" is pretty diverse most days, but if you get on the "discussion" side of things that's all user posts it is all 4 bangers n garbage/drifting; essentially it turns into "who can brag about the most obscure POS vehicle from 20 years ago."...
If there is ever a shooting brake mustang I will sell mine and never ever buy another one in my life.
And it'd be difficult to not lay a hand on any one I see. And I mean that in a bad way. There is zero cool factor. Just like all the ricers on CarThrottle and Jalopnik that get boners for...
Mustang:
Overall length: 188.3
Overall width: 75.4
Wheel base: 107.1
Hummer H1:
Overall length: 184.5
Overall width: 86.5
Wheel base: 130
Just for fun, to me, I compared it to my current daily driver just to see how living with it will be...not as different as I would have expected!
Only...
23 years old and 19's. I like the look of 60/70's cars with a lot of tire, but they just don't fit well on todays cars. Like others have said, anything smaller than 19" just doesn't seem as nice.
Because I don't want POS tires from Pirelli.
And I'm also getting my car in the beginning of the winter. I'd rather have a set so I can still drive it on nice days, and then in spring I could get tires that are actually decent.
I'm sorry that you are happy with sub-par tires.
Subaru?
1. I will never own a Subaru with the god-awful boxer motor. I don't want a car that sounds like the bathroom of a mall food court. And I never wanna be lumped in to that owners category; Subaru drivers are the only ones I refuse to help when I see them stuck in a ditch.

First off, I like hash, but only on one side. Depending on what point in history it was either to identify the side of the driver, or to help teams know what car is returning to the pits or whatnot. I think hash marks look goofy on both sides; it'd be driver side only for me.
Why not make...
