Not a fan of Goodyear either. Every time I went away from Michelin, no matter what I was driving, I regrtted it.
Sport Cup2s are so much fun to drive on, but not the best choice for the street IMO.
When I burn up the Cup2s, I'll do like most and get PS4S.
That difference is approaching 10%, so I wouldn't describe it as not that much when you're talking brake rotor surface area. And that's not total area, just radius delta between the two.
That's putting it mildly.

My wife has a '14 RR Titanium in the garage. Her dream car of the moment.
That 4dr sedan is a friggn blast to drive. I can pull away from all but the best performance cars on the road. 112K trouble free miles. It's our DD. If it had a 3rd pedal it'd be near perfect. :)
